Autopsy Simulator

Autopsy Simulator is a first-person horror-sim hybrid where players take on the role of a practice pathologist and study case files, created in collaboration with real-world forensic doctors, to help guide their dissection of anatomically accurate bodies to determine each subject’s cause of death.

Hey Pathologists! [b] In case you missed it, we recently announced that a free content update will arrive on 12th December, which brings the full release of our simulation-focused game mode 'Autopsy Only Mode' to Autopsy Simulator.[/b] Today, we have Autopsy Only Mode news and new screenshots to share from our upcoming update! [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/37485356/9119770271dc5945156da895b30d7c03de70b676.gif[/img] In Autopsy Only Mode, you'll step into the shoes of a student pathologist. Conduct autopsies to get scored based on your performance, so ensure you're following the accurate flow and procedures in the Autopsy Room to get the best score and rank! You'll be scored based on performance via the following criteria:[list][*] Minigame Score [*] Planning & Preparations [*] Unnecessary Examinations [*] Final Cause of Death [*] Clean Up[/list][img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/37485356/f5625253a69189736b26788ee2975aa54b5dd2fd.png[/img] Alongside Autopsy Only Mode's arrival, this week's update will bring alterations to Dead Memories. We've been making tweaks to the story mode based on community feedback and will have further details on this later in Devlog #20! [h2]What's new for Autopsy Only Mode?[/h2] Since our last PTE update in November, we've made several alterations and improvements to our upcoming simulation-focused game mode, ready for full launch on 12th December. These Autopsy Only Mode changes include: [h3]Improved Injuries & Textures[/h3] We've enhanced the realism in the Autopsy Room by implementing new and improved textures to Autopsy Only Mode, since PTE Update 3! This includes alterations to cadavers' injuries and improvements to the textures of scarring, cuts and more for Autopsy Only Mode. Since then, we've made alterations to these cadavers and added the third body for AOM's full launch! Alongside this, each cadaver will spawn with randomised facial hair style and head design for cadavers in Autopsy Only Mode. In our previous Devlog, we've discussed the ten total causes of death included in Autopsy Only Mode! The game mode contains seven generic causes of death across all cadavers and three unique causes of death, one per cadaver. This means that when you begin your Autopsy Only Mode game, you'll select from eight causes of death. Selecting the correct cause of death will score you more points in our new game mode. [h3]New Achievements for AOM[/h3] We've seen community questions regarding Achievements for our new simulation-focused game mode. We're pleased to announce that Autopsy Only Mode brings eleven new achievements for Autopsy Simulator, all unlocked during our new game mode. We hope you're looking forward to getting back into the Autopsy Room this week and unlocking them all! [h3]Dead Memories Improvements[/h3] Alongside the release of our new game mode for Autopsy Simulator, our free update on December 12th will bring some tweaks and changes to Dead Memories. This includes fixing an issue where some horror elements would not trigger, making the second alternative ending easier to occur, and more! 🤝 We've also made some alterations to the organ cutting in Dead Memories, by implementing AOM organ cutting improvements into the story mode. Along with this addition, we've made some minor tweaks and bug fixes to improve your experience with Dead Memories!
