Signals of Outer Space

S.O.S. is the story of simple space guys who save the galaxy every day, destroying swarms of xenomorphs, burning mushrooms, space pirates and saving someone from falling apart ships. And they do it in an alternate universe, where the Soviet Union expanded into its own multiverse.

Greetings to all fans of tactical strategies and exciting stories! We have important news: Rummy Games Studio has officially signed an agreement with Pulsart publishing house to create a game in the Metronomicon universe! [b]What awaits us?[/b] It will be a turn-based strategy game with roguelike elements, inspired by such masterpieces as Into the Breach, XCOM: Chimera Squad and Tactical Breach Wizards. It was with great pleasure that we started working with the setting [url=https://metronomicon.ru] of the Metronomicon[/url], which gained popularity due to its unique atmosphere of science fiction, mysticism and philosophical issues. And now, thanks to this collaboration, we can help expand the MNMC universe by making a great game based on it! [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/34771562/57804446ba63f3fce1de0edce24f940d4a6bca87.jpg[/img] [b]What will the game be about?[/b] In an alternate reality, humanity is faced with the threat of global Infiltration, a phenomenon that has changed the laws of physics, created anomalies and monsters. The Soviet Union, which has survived as a global superpower, has become a leader in the fight against these threats. However, the forces of one country will not be enough to combat this phenomenon. Players will lead one of the international rescue services, completing missions to evacuate, protect stations, explore artifacts, and battle biomechanoids and other creatures of the cataclysm. We are not revealing the details of the plot yet, but we are already working hard on this with our partners, we will try to meet the expectations of all fans of the setting and just fans of good game plots! We took the basis from our Signals of Outer Space prototype, which is still available for download as a demo, and are completely redesigning it to fit the Metronomicon setting. We are currently actively adapting key mechanics to the new atmosphere so that every element of the game works to reveal the world and the plot. [b]Plans for the near future[/b] The main task is to complete the planning of the MVP version (the minimum viable product) and create a vertical slice that demonstrates the uniqueness of the project. This will help us attract additional funding and speed up development. To do this, we will create a small prologue — it will allow players to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the game and test the key mechanics. [b]A little bit about the setting[/b] The world of the game is rich in details and stories. Infiltration is not only a threat, but also a mystery that has changed humanity. Flying islands, mirages, anomalous zones where the usual laws of physics do not apply — all this is part of the new reality. People no longer run, but learn to use chaos for their own purposes, developing technology and exploring the unknown. But at what cost? We will keep you updated with all updates.
