Hi everyone! I am a solo developer, and this is my pet project. You can call me QCDev :) A handful of streamers were cool enough to play through the demo! They will be named at the end of these notes as special thanks. The newest patch hopes to address some concerns / problems encountered during twitch streams, especially related to the settings menu, controller support, and graphical issues. The previous few updates did not come with patch notes. so that information has been included. ---
v. 1.0.017 Patch notes:

Additions:
-Added PLASMA TETHER ability to the shop. -Replaced the secret rocket launcher with a unique item that is still in development. -Checkpoints are now labeled. ---
Adjustments:

General:
-Updated level design. -Updated text. -Revised, shorter intro. -Visual adjustments. -Better music variety. -Slight UI adjustments: moving the music details to the top of the screen and interact prompts to the bottom. -Game settings now default to 1080p, windowed, on medium settings. Raised the default gamma. Lowered the default volume. Windowed start will help streamers set up their capture without the game fighting them back, and Medium as a default will ensure that the main menu runs smoothly on most computers. This will exclusively effect new players with no existing save file. If you already have one, your preferred options will still be remembered on startup. -Lowered bloom & lens flare intensity. Removed point lights from various objects. AMD cards interact with the game's lighting differently, often leading to gigantic blinding lights that flash rapidly. These fixes hope to address that, although there's no way to be certain of its effectiveness because I own an NVIDIA card.
Spinshot:
-Increased launch power from 4,000 to 6,500 -Decreased cooldown time from 20 seconds to 10 seconds. It's more fun. These changes are also intended to help it compete with the PLASMA TETHER.
Spider Drone:
-Added 1.5x weakness to energy damage. -Added 1.5x weakness to blunt damage. -Added boosters to the boss arena to help players dodge attacks. -The blue orbs in the boss arena will now respawn after 10 seconds. -The health pickup in the boss arena will now respawn after 30 seconds.
Sobbing Eyes:
-Sobbing Eyes now take 6x damage from blunt attacks, drastically increasing the viability of jumping or rolling into them. This should give players another option for dealing with them if they haven't purchased the SHOTGUN yet. -Less annoying projectile sound.
Zombie:
-Less annoying grab sound. -Larger head hitbox. -Zombie now heals itself 10x as much from grabbing you. Hopefully this introduces a more nuanced threat to the situation without just dealing more damage
Settings Menu:
-Removed Ultra and Recommended Graphics Settings from the settings menu. Ultra settings were nearly indistinguishable from High, but were absurdly expensive, and would sometimes completely freeze a streamer's computer. Recommended usually just picked High, regardless of machine specs. -Removed non-16:9 resolution options until proper Ultrawide support can be patched in. I don't own an Ultrawide monitor, so at the moment it's impossible for me to test this feature thoroughly. I don't want half-baked features that ruin the game for Ultrawide chads. I will return to this at a later date when I am able. For now, please play the game in 16:9. ---
Fixes:
-Fixed an issue where the player could enter doors while being restrained. -Fixed an issue where using the ESC key to exit the checkpoint menu would also open the pause menu. -Fixed a rare issue where the player could spawn a ragdoll of themselves after dying. -Fixed some instances where controllers could hover buttons that are out of focus. ---
Optimizations:
-Removed point lights from health and ammo pickups, easing lighting calculations. ---
Special Thanks to the Following [strike]Guinea Pigs[/strike] Streamers:
-Capn_K_ -ZezaReignhalt -tehpickley -BassyBunny ---
The fastest way to reach me is through the community discord!
https://discord.gg/qaRcDCEDDj Right now, there are only about 50 members-- the most active one being myself.
