New patch introducing changes and improvements to stealth and Refuge Upgrades!
- Introducing refuge upgrades: You can access to them via Maelvar's crafting tab. Each upgrade improves the refuge's safety, reducing the risk of invasion. This update adds 3 different upgrades
- Tweaked stealth. Enemies now react properly to the lamp being lit
- Enemy hearing now works as intended. Depending on the speed, steps generate sounds of varied intensity. Each enemy has a hearing threshold that, when surpassed, will prompt them to investigate
- Each weapon generates noise of different intensity, alerting enemies and their surrondings
- Enemy sight has also been improved; enemies will have a harder time detecting you depending on their vision angle and range
- Venturing at night will render you invisible to normal enemies, but they will still be able to hear you
- Using dark camouflage will hide you in the shadows; making you invisible for enemies unless your light is on
- Camouflage now affects the whole party instead of just one character. Equipping a camouflage with any character will also equip it on the rest of the party
- Added a visual indicator for the HUD to reflect the hidden status
Fixes:
- Dodge iframes for every character are now properly altered by stamina
- Fixed an issue that caused companions to randomly stutter before ceasing movement
- Fixed an issue where companions would clip through doors between them and their positions
Known issues:
- Changing the key bindings for keyboard and mouse won't reflect on the UI unless it's reloaded
- Sight and hearing are still being worked on to achieve a better responsiveness
- The tutorial is pending an update with the new features
