New patch introducing injuries, refuge invasions, and night gameplay
- Added injuries. When a character is downed, he'll automatically pick up an injury (arm, leg, chest or head injury). Each one affects stats differently, and can only be healed by resting for a number of days.
- Injury duration depends on morale while suffering it, and picking up one affects the whole party's morale.
- Injuries can get infected if left untreated. Untreated infected wounds will deal damage to a character when performing activities other than rest.
- Character deaths now affect morale.
- Added refuge invasions. The refuge can now be invaded by monsters. Setting characters activities to guarding can mitigate and completely nullify this effect.
- Added moths; dangerous new enemies that attack at night. They can only be slowed down by fire, and chini oil light repels them.
- Added night gameplay. You can now rest until midnight and go out. Enemies will be blind unless the light is on, but having the light off attracts moths.
- Reworked command system. You now have to hold the support and rear guard button to issue attacks to the enemies hovered over.
- Rear guard consumes stamina when attacking enemies.
Pending:
- Morale effects for the party. Low morale can result in a character being demoralized and suffering different effects, including penalties, bonuses and more.
- GUI elements to clearly show the chances for invasion/how much does guarding mitigate them.
- Refuge improvements to minimize the chance for invasion.
- Improve the tutorial to reflect the new changes and additions.
Fixes & changes:
- Camera now moves closer when traversing interiors.
- Corrected the amount of meals and water used after resting.
