BattleCourt: a Casual Horde Survival Looter and Shooter. Millions of combinations of guns, survive as long as you can.

Beta 1.4.3 Update Patchnotes: - Changed Daily to require a minimum of 5 waves. - Added 1920x800 and 3840x1600 resolution options. - Moved Menus upward so they aren't cut off on 21:9 aspect ratios. - Trimmed the Achievement, Inventory and Patchnotes Menu Heights to fit on 21:9 aspect ratio screens. - Fixed bug with HUD UI elements not being in correct position on start up on some resolutions. - Changed player movement functionality. Player now remains close to centre of the screen unless reaching map edges. - Zombie Outfit styles on Basketball Court are now the same as the other Levels. - Added Frenzy Animated Costume. Unlockable by Upgrading Scrap Amount to 10. - Added Wave Fast Forward Functionality and Button appearing to the right of the Wave Display. Click to toggle between x3 speed or normal speed. If using controller, toggle with Right Shoulder (RB). - Added 10 Wireframe Loot Drop Costumes. - Changed Selected Costume Button highlight to Green in the Loadout Menu. - Weapon Info stays displayed while the Equip Weapon menu is active. - Equip Slot menu now has a fixed position instead of appearing next to the Equip button of the selected gun. Changed so that it doesn't cover the display of the Weapon Info. - Added Weapon Display info of equipped weapon when hovering over it in the equip menu for easier comparisons. - Added Ability to swap equipped weapon positions. Buttons to switch appear above the equip slots while in Inventory. Only swapping is available, unequipping is not available as that can be abused to get coins very easily and will cause an issue if no guns are equipped. - Wall Weapon type Placeable Wall Textures redone to suit the game style a bit better. - Large Wall Placer firing rate improved from 0.22 to 0.66 shots/sec. - Samll Wall Placer firing rate improved from 0.33 to 1 shot/sec. - Leech Modifier added. Only obtainable as a unique mod at this stage. More Info The features added in this update were a few things I had been meaning to add and mainly requests from the community. Support for 21:9 aspect ratios has been added with the option to select 1920x800 or 3840 x 1600 resolutions as well as a bug fix around the load up resolution display (the HUD elements were not positioning correctly). You can now switch what weapon slot the equipped weapon is in by clicking the number buttons above the equip weapon HUD display while the inventory screen is active. Unequip was considered but it can be easily abused by purchasing a permanent gun, starting a game unequipping and selling then starting a new game. The weapon stat info screen stays displayed now if you click to equip the weapon. Also if you hover over one of the equip slots that currently has a gun equipped, a comparison window comes up for easy weapon comparison. Due to these changes the equip slot sub menu no longer appears next to the equip weapon button that was clicked, it now has a permanent position under the weapon stat display. The Wave Fast Forward button appears at the top of the screen next to the Current Wave Display. It can be clicked to toggle between 1x and 3x spawn speeds. This only speeds up how quickly the enemies spawn in as well as the intermission and wave timers, it doesn't speed up the overall game speed. The player positioning now remains more centred unless you reach the map edge. How I set up the game was for free player movement unless it hits an edge of one of 4 invisible movement walls that remain centred on the screen. If the player hits one of the edges, instead of adjusting player position, it adjusts all other object positions (Screen Scrolling). Before this update i set the walls at a fixed distance from screen edge of 764 pixels, Now I have set it to 0.45 of screenHeight /0.45 of screenWidth. This means the player gas a smaller area of free movement before hitting one of the edges to start scrolling screen. If the player is near a map edge, this logic is ignored and instead the player keeps moving. This setup allows for a more centred player position and prevents screen overscrolling on map edges. More costumes have been added with 10 wireframe costumes as loot drops to find, and Frenzy costume linked to the scrapping achievement. This costume is the first animated costume that has been added to the game. This costume was made as a reference to the player Frenzy. Leech Modifier has also been added and due to it being an extremely strong modifier to get, I have limited it to a unique mod roll, and only leeches 1% of hit damage at this stage. Walls also received a change with new Images that are more basic but suit the game better, and adjustments to the firing rates as walls were pretty useless. This change makes them a more usable. Thank you all for the feedback and suggestions which were a part of this update. Regards, Luke Parisi
