Dear fellow card warriors,
Since the launch of [b]Cardaclysm[/b] last month, I’ve been working a lot to vastly improve the game. Your [url=https://steamcommunity.com/app/1252710][b]forum posts[/b][/url] and [url=https://discord.com/invite/n4rHS65][b]Discord comments[/b][/url] helped a great deal in doing that! Today’s update marks the 3rd post-launch update for [b]Cardaclysm[/b] and I’d like to talk about the more significant changes that were introduced in these updates.
[b]ADAPTIVE DIFFICULTY[/b]
Forget being stuck once and for all: from now on, the game monitors your progress and adapts its difficulty to make sure that you always face enemies that match your power.
[b]REALM REWARD[/b]
After today’s update, once you successfully defeat all six opponents and complete a realm, the game offers you three cards and you can choose one to keep. The three offered cards are always from the current tier. Together with the adaptive difficulty, this means you’ll never get stuck and you’ll always get relevant cards that can help you build that Perfect Deck™ ːsteamhappyː
[b]TOKEN PRICES[/b]
Prices at the Token Trader, chest pages and artifact inventory have been significantly reduced (cards can now be acquired for 25-45-65 instead of 50-75-100 for example!!). Also, the only source of income for Tokens was discarding your hard-earned cards – well, that is no longer the case! You can now collect tokens on the world map as well.

[b]BALANCE[/b]
Numerous balance issues and inconsistencies have been resolved since launch, including the way paralyze behaved against Rage creatures (enemy creatures with Rage do not get either of their attacks now if they are paralyzed) and creatures with Thorns abilities have been weakened as well. All changes have been implemented to hopefully solve the problem of sudden difficulty spikes and provide a smoother experience.
...and I do not plan to stop here either! The world of [b]Cardaclysm[/b] is important to me and I want to keep working on it to make it as fantastic an experience to play as possible! Thank you for all your feedback, you have truly helped shape the game into what it has become!
