We teased this over a month ago, however this feature required us to switch to a newer version of the game engine and there were some features we needed to update to ensure the best experience for captains. We think the update work is complete and now it is time for the real test, captain feedback. We are still working on UI Scaling, but it is a larger lift than first thought, especially with the level of testing we want to do before release. We are very excited to hear about Wide and Ultra Wide Screen Support.
With missions, skills, and ships getting updates we heard a lot about the Star System Map Navigation methods, and we have made some good improvements.
Finally, something that is not in these update notes was the amount of work that has got into Testing Tooling. We built some new tools to help better balance encounters and star systems. There is still a good amount of work, still forward progress. We want to add new star systems to Career Mode and the tools to convert or create them are not ready.
