Foreclosed is a narrative-driven action-shooter set in a Cyberpunk world. Follow the story of Evan Kapnos in this sleek comic-book styled game and discover how losing your identity is all too possible. From education to public transportation, services are added to your identity debt. Citizens must find employers who will buy their “identity debt” and then work for their employer to pay them back. Very few individuals can afford to buy back their identity outright. This is where our hero, Kapnos, comes in, he awakes one morning to discover his employer, Securetech, has gone bankrupt. Kapnos' identity debt has been foreclosed and his identity suspended. This disables his access from the “city blockchain”, everything from utilities in his apartment (he can’t even open his fridge!) to human interaction has been disabled. Kapnos must make it to the courthouse on time to reclaim his identity, but, nothing is ever as easy as it sounds. How the act of failing to take the individual into consideration more adversely affects those who are more vulnerable. FORECLOSED’s story is inspired by the developer team’s, (Antab Studio) experiences of failed bureaucratic processes and expands on our world's current dystopian feel.
