Weekly News #1
If you're just interested in the updates, a quick list of changes is at the bottom of the page
Developer Notes
Since the official announcement of the game, I have been looking for ways to build a community around the game and I think doing a weekly summary is a nice way to do that. I have also created some social media profiles to post content about the game. They are at the end of this page if you want to follow any of them.
Updates
I conducted a Closed Beta of the game with a few people and gathered interesting feedback. I have already started implementing some changes in the project. One of these improvements will be the ability to choose which customizable item will be used, instead of the current system that makes the cat's color or hat model random based on the level of upgrades. I intend for players to acquire these items in-game and choose which one to use at the moment, like a clothing selection system. The upgrade store will continue to affect the scenario but with different elements. I made adjustments to the clickable area of the buttons because, due to the custom game cursor, it created a feeling of not selecting the correct location. I added some visual elements that appear upon reaching certain levels or the maximum level in some upgrades, providing a more satisfying sense of progress. I started the process of selecting languages and some items in the settings menu. I will probably have news in the next weekly report. I changed the map progression system. Previously, you would reach the maximum level of the villages and move to the next map. Now, maps will be a customizable item that you will choose which to use. So, when changing the map, the number of villages that will appear on it will be compatible with the village level. I also added 2 more levels of villages on each map. The initial number of hats that I intended to have for the first version of the game is already ready.
Change List

The click area of the buttons has been fixed.
The hats for the first version of the game have been completed.
The layout of the settings menu has been created, and its background music has been chosen.
The upgrade and customization systems have been separated.
Added more versions for each map.
Sound adjustments made.
