The King Cat Clicker

You are the King of Cats, collect coins, renovate the kingdom, and enjoy adorable visuals in this IDLE/Clicker game.
Developer Notes

GDWC Participation
I’m excited to announce that The King Cat Clicker will be participating in the Winter GDWC (Game Development World Championship) under the Best Indie category. While winning an award might be a long shot, just being part of such a major event with my very first game is already a huge accomplishment for me. Thank you for your support!
Steam Next Fest
Steam has unveiled the interface for the upcoming Steam Next Fest, which will take place from October 14th to 21st. Naturally, I couldn’t wait to check it out, and I’m thrilled to see The King Cat Clicker featured in the Adventure/Point and Click category! This event is a fantastic opportunity to grow our Wishlist numbers, and with your help, we’re close to hitting the 200 milestone. Thank you for being part of this journey!
Auto Clicker Feedback
A lot of the feedback I've received has been about the use of Scripts or AutoClickers. I see The King Cat Clicker as a casual, fun game where players can enjoy the adorable cats while exploring different visuals and maps. However, I understand that players will always find their own “correct” way to play, even if that includes using external tools like AutoClickers. As a developer, it’s my responsibility to ensure the game works as smoothly as possible. I’ve tested some of these external scripts and managed to identify and fix some achievement issues and FPS drops you reported. However, I can't guarantee flawless performance with external programs, as they vary greatly in functionality. For the best experience, I recommend playing The King Cat Clicker as it was designed—without external tools. But, of course, it’s entirely up to you. I create, you play :)
A Glimpse Into the Next Game
As for my next project… I’ve already completed the settings menu, and I’m in the process of negotiating the character art and environment design. This game will be my big bet, and I’m investing a lot to make it special. And yes, I’ll continue my tradition of translating the game into all 29 supported Steam languages because I don’t want anyone left out!
Twitter/X
I wasn't planning on discussing this again, but this week, it seemed like Twitter/X had returned—at least that’s what I thought. I even considered announcing that I’d resume posting there, but it was short-lived. Access to the platform is no longer available in Brazil. So, if you saw my posts earlier this week and were planning to follow Ginger Cat Studios on Twitter, I regret to inform you that there will be no further updates there. However, I’ll continue to stay active on Instagram. If Twitter/X becomes accessible again, I’ll announce it here and on other platforms as well.
Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!
