The King Cat Clicker

You are the King of Cats, collect coins, renovate the kingdom, and enjoy adorable visuals in this IDLE/Clicker game.
Developer Notes

Wishlists
Thank you for helping me reach the milestone of 180 Wishlists! My goal is to reach at least 1,000 by the launch date. I’ve created a chart showing the proportion of Wishlists by country and posted it on Instagram. If you enjoy seeing numbers in visual form like I do 🤓, check it out here: Proportion of Wishlists

40.4% - Brazil
11.8% - USA
9.6% - Japan
7.3% - Russia
3.9% - Germany
27% - Other Countries
I'm really happy with the high number of Brazilians. I know that most of them are friends and colleagues who may not buy the game but still wanted to show their support, and I really appreciate that. But I'm even more excited to see the number of wishlists from other countries, as it shows genuine interest in purchasing the game. I think a big part of this is due to my decision to translate the game into all Steam-supported languages. I promise to continue translating into all 29 languages, because it makes me happy to see people from countries that rarely receive translations adding my games to their wishlists. I’m thankful to all the countries that have added the game to their wishlist, but I would like to give a special shout-out to Japan, which is growing rapidly in the number of wishlists. I believe the Japanese people really love cats. :)
Roguelites
Last Sunday, I challenged myself to create a survival roguelite in less than one day to test some mechanics for a future game. Afterward, I made a few small improvements and decided to release it for free because I thought it was interesting. It’s just a quick and free game, and I won’t be working on it anymore. You can play it for free on Itch.io: Generic Rogue-Survivor Game
Next Game
One of my original game ideas was to create a roguelite similar to Vampire Survivors and Brotato, but I didn’t feel ready for that, and I wanted my first experience publishing on Steam to be a smaller project. The learning process has been incredibly valuable. I’ve learned a lot about what to avoid and how to improve while working on The King Cat Clicker. These lessons will definitely help me create a truly great game in the future. I’ll still be working on The King Cat Clicker, but I have to be realistic. I only started learning Construct3 in July, and after just two weeks, I was already publishing my first game. I believe my dedication has allowed me to make incredible progress, but a game made in just one month, even with a lot of effort, may not be enough to change my life. I hope I’m wrong and that The King Cat Clicker sells very well. If that happens, I’ll gladly invest in adding more content and frequent updates. Otherwise, I’ll make quality-of-life improvements and focus on the next project—always bigger and better!
Social Media
Steam recently added more social media options, which you can see at the end of this post. Therefore, I will be removing this section from future Weekly News. I’d just like to mention again that Twitter/X has been banned in Brazil, so I won’t be active there anymore. My suggestion is to follow my work on Instagram.
