On this January 1st, I’ve just uploaded version 1.0.4 of the Emergency Exit demo.
I won’t go into a long list of all the changes because it would simply be too much. That’s the official reason. The real reason? I’ve made so many updates and improvements that I can’t keep track of everything!
That said, here’s what’s new in this version:

Significant graphical changes, with a much more cohesive, darker, and polished artistic direction (visible in the new trailer and screenshots).

Several UI and UX improvements, refining the overall experience.

Bug fixes, including a major one (thanks to everyone who pointed it out!).

An extended demo: The first three levels are now accessible instead of two, as the game’s playtime has tripled since the previous version.
This update and more make this the largest patch since the demo’s release on October 12, 2024.
I’m looking forward to your feedback, especially regarding the Linux version, which I’m still struggling to make as seamless as the Windows one.
Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who has already added Emergency Exit to their wishlists! Truly, it means a lot.
Wishing you all a fantastic new year,
Romain
