We’re excited to unveil our biggest update yet to the Rune Circle System in Dwarves: Glory, Death and Loot! Your feedback has been invaluable, and we've been hard at work making the Rune System more flexible, user-friendly, and rewarding. Here's what you can expect in this epic overhaul:

Gone are the days of complex menus and confusing rules. The Rune System has been reimagined with clarity and simplicity—whether you’re a Rune Master or a novice, you’ll feel right at home.

🔥 New Runes to Discover
A batch of brand-new Runes has been introduced, each offering unique abilities to enhance your clan. From inheriting items from an old clan to transforming your Priests into damage dealers, there’s something for every playstyle.

We heard your feedback: the old Rune System felt restrictive and hard to engage with. This update is all about giving you the freedom to play your way. Build strategies, test your ingenuity, and forge your path to glory!

- Chistmas Event:
-- Changed title screen to Winter/Christmas
-- Dwarves will now drop twice as many gem chests when leaving the title screen idle

- Rune Circle Rework:
-- Removed Rune Inventory and random Rune Shop

- Added 9 new Runes:
-- Miner (Support): Increases the base chance to obtain Mythril from battles
-- Blacksmith (Support): Increases the base chance to obtain higher grade Mythril from disassembling items
-- Brewmaster (Support): Increases the base rate at which beer for the Tavern is gathered from battles
-- Inheritance (Support): Can inherit one item from the Storage for the next clan
-- Judgement (Ultimate): When using an Ultimate, has a chance to cast Smite
-- Chemical Warfare (Ultimate): When using an Ultimate, has a chance to throw a Toxic Flask
-- Inquisition (Offensive): Holy damage has a 1/2/4% chance to cause a holy explosion
-- Harbinger (Offensive): Dark damage increases by 2/4/8% for each stack of Fear on the target, but receive -1/2/4% healing from allies
-- Solitude (Defensive): UNIQUE Tier 3. Self heal increases by 12% (max 72%) but receive -6% (max 36%) healing from allies
- Added new settings for cursor size, cursor color and fps (up to 120)

-- Increased 'Horror' Rune scaling from 50% to 100% (max 200%) of INT
-- Changed 'Multishot' Rune to also affect 'Piercing Arrow' range and adjusted damage scaling
-- Increased base chance of 'Armageddon' Runes from 3/6/9 to 4/8/12% (max 24%)
-- Reduced damage increase of 'Venom' Runes from 2/4/6 to 1/2/4% (max 8%) per stack of poison
-- 'Plea' Rune changed to scale with Wisdom instead of Intelligence
- Increased base chance to obtain higher grade Mythril from disassembling items by 25%
- Changed how Wisdom affects Mana Regeneration:
-- The effects of Wisdom on Mana Regeneration will now diminish with more points allocated
-- Formula: WIS * 0.25 * (100/(100 + WIS))
--- WIS = 1 -> Total Mana Regeneration increased by ~0.25 mana/second
--- WIS = 10 -> Total Mana Regeneration increased by ~2.27 mana/second

- Changed how Dexterity affects Attack Speed:
-- Attack speed now proportionally increases the base Attack Speed of the Weapon
-- The effects of Dexterity on Attack Speed will now diminish with more points allocated
-- Formula: Base Attack Speed * (1 + 3 * (1 - 300/(300 + DEX)))

- Optimized Card Battles for late-game!

- When there are only Priest/Supporter Orcs left in card battles they will stop healing and charge forward

- 'Hold The Line' Formation range increased from +25% to +40%
- Switched biome modifiers for Wisdom (now Glacier) and Strength (now Forest)
- Changed and optimized behavior of crow projectiles (Warlock's base attack)
- Adjusted shop item unlocks to better match biome modifiers
- 'Moonlight Bow' is no longer a rare item and is available at Shop Tier 5 in the Ruins
- 'Serpent Staff' is no longer ar rare item and is available at Shop Tier 11 in the Ruins
- Increased stats on 'Dragon Staff'
- 'Terrify' will now only add 1 stack of Fear, but additionally knocks back all targets based on Wisdom
- 'Piercing Arrow' can now also trigger the 'Explosive Quiver' effect
- Changed 'Archangel Figurine' to grant WIS instead of INT
- Block chance can no longer exceed 90%
- Mythril can now be upgraded faster
- You can now disassemble all items at once by holding down the disassemble button in the Forge
- Added option to disable forging animations
- Mythril drop will now disappear on the battlefield after 1 minute (will still be granted after battle)
- Updated UI navigation and visuals

- Fixed a few visual issues with the 'Moonlight Set' set bonus
- Fixed an issue where 'Battlerune: Inferno' had more range than intended
- Fixed a display issue with the healing values for Paladin and Warpriest
- Fixed a bug where the Set effects of 'Divine Set' and 'Djinn Set' were not applied correctly
- Fixed a bug where the Passive 'Epiphany' (Paladin) was not applied correctly
- Fixed an issue where 'Holy Fire' Rune was not working correctly
- Fixed an issue where stat changes to speed were not displayed correctly
- Fixed some issues with projectiles causing performance issues
- Fixed an issue where ranged characters would ignore proximity checks when using the 'Hold The Line' Formation
- Fixed an issue where error messages could cause fps drops
