[b]Welcome to the Middle Ages![/b] With two hours of content and three full eras to explore, this update marks the half way point for the Rogue Hex alpha. ✨ [b]Features[/b] • Enter the Medieval Era • Discover 26 new technologies • New mechanic: Status Effects • Redesigned Storage mechanic • Connect your cities with roads to earn bonuses • Twelve new Buildings • Six new Units • Five new Wonders • Eight new Developments • Eight new Relics • Eleven new Traits • Five new Achievements • Too many new cards to count… ⚖️ [b]Changes[/b] • The Undo button is back …but it may cause bugs in some cases. Use it with care. • Leftover Gold and Faith now expire each turn • Reworked Silver currency into Diamonds • Units gain fatigue when you pay plans to move them • Units must now be in your territory to upgrade • Reroll cost is now shared between all sources, resetting each turn • Reduced sequential labour cost increase to draw cards from doubling to Fibonacci • Reduced sequential food cost increase to expand from doubling to linear • You can lock structures like Villages and Encampments to prevent accidental captures • You can expand onto tiles with Windfalls to collect them with your city • You may Visit villages in your cities by clicking on them • Reduced the size of the map • Tons of balance changes • Barbara can now advance to the Renaissance Era 🐛 [b]Bug Fixes[/b] • Fixed a bug that could cause save files to fail • Unit stat mods and traits now load correctly • Strategic resources reveal when advancing eras & loading games • Fixed an issue that caused barbarian units to appear stuck between tiles • Upgrading units no longer destroys their mounts • Cost of upgraded Settler cards now displays correctly • Lots of crash fixes and stability improvements Up next: the Renaissance era.
