Welcome back.[/h1] Surviving the Abyss will be releasing in 1.0 this year, and we’re also happy to announce that we’ll be supporting the game with another 4 free updates following the initial release. We’ll be announcing the release date of the 1.0 update, in the coming month! [h2]Update 1.0[/h2] We’ve been hard at work on the next update for Surviving the Abyss. We’ll be releasing a preview closer to launch, but for now we want to discuss some of the main areas of our focus: [list] [*] Late/End Game: We’ve primarily been focusing on the late & end game. This brings our main narrative to a close. We also introduce a new, deadly biome to enter and explore, as well as new buildings to construct and technologies to unlock. [*] Biome Hazards: We’re making changes and additions to a number of biomes, adding new hazards to overcome. [*] New Events: We're introducing new events, focused primarily on the anomaly and main narrative. [*] Achievements: We’ve held off on including achievements until the 1.0 release. We’re currently adding and refining our achievements. [*] Balancing / Pacing: Numerous changes to both balancing and the overall game pacing. [*] Bug Fixing: We’re aware of a number of bugs with varying severity. We’re aiming to address as many of these as possible alongside this update. [/list] We want to thank all the the players who have provided feedback and bug reports, this has been invaluable in addressing bugs and balancing issues.
