The new Steam rules and server update is officially out; once again, this new update will do the following: [list] [*] Online games will be wiped [*] Existing offline games won’t load [*] The update through Steam will be required to play online [/list] Here are the patch notes for this new update: [list] [*] Fixed tutorial/prompt window sorting [*] Updated front end background [*] Additional art tutorial support [*] Updated UI for Jihadist Prestige Victory condition [*] Reworked Token help popup [*] Fixed various Ops Tray layout issues (both Jihadist and US Ops Trays) [*] Added ambient audio slider to game pause [*] Reworked resolution of half-height cards [*] Added non playable event warning on player hand cards [*] Various art optimizations [*] Reworked map to improve various gameplay visibility issues [*] Reworked Hold/Discard Last Card mechanic [*] Moved game Chat popup to allow player to interact with map while visible [*] Added icon for First Plot in HUD for Jihadist player [*] Game Waiting icon in game shifted to match front end position [*] Added Event Tokens (in play) to map country locations [*] Fixed end game result display issues [*] Updated end game results screen. [*] Added new buttons for deploying to the Troop Track. [*] Changed how the final card in the US's hand is handled. [*] Victory conditions on the Resources tracking popup now reflect the current game type. [*] Updated how the log handles clicks on card & country names. [*] Cards that behave differently during automata games now only display the pertinent text while in game. [*] Added icons for insufficient funding results while recruiting. [*] Added indicators on cards for when their event is unplayable. [*] Updated event box to sort icons based on faction. [*] When selecting a target for War of Ideas, clicking on an invalid target will display why the target is invalid. [*] Added country-specific markers to affected countries. [*] Updated country glows. [*] New music & sound effects. [*] Added ambient sound system. [*] Disabled Jihadist AI (for now). [*] Added special animation for cells animating between the US and the Philippines. [*] Fixed a bug where offline games could be seen under the tutorial selection.
