Small Devlog #3

Hey all! This is going to be straight to the point. So within the last few weeks as I said in the previous log I had been very busy with the update. This update converts the entire game to something new. It's extremely awesome. Now this will be the biggest update so far. But with that being the case, I will say it will seem as if the content is lackluster. This will be the 1.0 update. This will be the game in its final form and the step towards much more content planned in the future. - The Current Content - So far there are 8 heroes and 5 bosses. If you've played the "Demo" you'll know there are currently 4, but the other is a secret boss. This will be a theme that will play out fairly normally with each new update onwards. Small little secrets and other stuff like that. I am currently play-testing the new update but I am safe to say that the new update is very very close to release. I want to make sure this update does not break. This is due to the new save system being implemented. The save system is not very complicated and I will talk about what exactly it saves. So with the new update here soon I will release a gameplay trailer and update the Steam page. The game's pricing will remain the same as it was. Free. No need for pricing lol. Anyways the new save system saves XP for your profile and all 8 heroes. Whenever you level up your hero will gain some stats permanently. This means that every time you come back to play, you will always be on the same level. So far there are no plans to make a max level, I like the idea that someone would want to grind and get to come back to see their progression and high-level characters. Now I am still kind of improvising on the new system as I wanted to make each character have a level for each stat. This would add tons of incentive for anyone to want to grind something specific. Anyway for now I am going to leave the progression there. So far all heroes are complete. I am still working out the kinks on some of them. So far my favorite change to the hero Barnel is his dash attack. Whenever he leaps he can now infinitely shoot. It's pretty awesome. That's all for this devlog.
