Okay! So I know it has been a long time! Juggling a full time job and trying to work on this new game has been a task for sure!
I really just wanted to show you some early screenshots.
So far I have made 1 playable area, 7 weapons, 4 bosses, and several enemy types.
These screenshots below are just some small teaser material.

The plan here is for you to be able to select a boss of your choosing. It will be round based so each time you defeat the boss, they will return stronger. This will continue for 10-16 rounds or so. I honestly have not decided just yet.
Since KoChaos did not have much story or lore, this has given me some time to kind of improvise and expand on previous characters. I recently just did this with a smaller project that only took me around a month to make. If you'd like to check that out, there will be a itch.io link below.
This game will kind of expand of the whole formula of KoChaos a bit more. I do not think this game will end the formula here. Instead of heroes you will be given random weapons. When you die you get to keep that weapon. This kind of folds in with the rogue-like genre slightly. You will only be able to carry one weapon.
You will smash crates to gain small stackable buffs after every round. Golden crates will hold your random weapons.
The enemies will be more or less zombies, and other types of zombies. Basically undead.
