Hey all! This is an announcement about steam deck compatibility! So with the last few updates I’ve worked hard on ensuring that the game works flawlessly with the steam deck and no crashes or major bugs occur. I’m happy to let you know what is supported with the deck. - Does KoChaos work with proton? Yes the game works and has no issues. I’ve used the experimental and latest versions. No issues. - Does KoChaos work with the control layout on the steam deck? From all I’ve tested, keyboard and the native controller inputs have worked flawlessly and I personally have not occurred any issues. Others have also tested with their deck and have had no issues, though your experience could vary depending on the type of inputs you use. I’ve used a PS4, PS5, and XBOX controller and they all work just fine. There are also prompts within the game as well to let you know what you must press for a character to perform that action. - How well does KoChaos perform on the deck? The game performs amazingly. No stuttering and the game gets a consistent sixty frames per second. With the game being 2D it should not come to anyone’s surprise it would perform great. - How well is text readability in KoChaos on the deck? All text large and small is more than readable. The only text I would expect anyone not to read is the enemy health points. Other than that I would say that’s cleared. With the game also receiving its latest update I would say it makes the game more than playable with tons of content to experience and more to come.
