There are 3 rounds in a Wreckout match, like in a beat 'em up 🥊, but each round goes to sudden death ⚽️ if there's no winner when time runs out ⏱️. [previewyoutube=OS4pT39EecE;full][/previewyoutube] This system creates maximum drama, and breaks up matches into bite sized chunks. It also means there is always a winner and multiple different levels of victory, because each round can be won in three ways:

Perfect: The winner destroys all of their opponents bricks before the timer runs down
Timed: Both teams have one or more bricks remaining when the timer runs down, but the winner has more remaining
Sudden Death: Both teams have an equal number of bricks remaining when the timer runs down, leading to “sudden death” where the next team to lose a brick loses the round.
Our plan is to then calculate a points value for the winner as follows:

Round 1: 3 points for Perfect, 2 for Timed and 1 for Sudden Death
Rounds 2/3: 5 points for Perfect, 3 for Timed and 1 for Sudden Death
So if you win, you get a minimum of 2 points and a maximum of 8 points depending on how dominant your victory was.
