Retro Sketch Release

Retro Sketch - Pixel Art & Animation

Retro Sketch makes it easy to create awesome pixel art drawings and animations.

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Retro Sketch! We are happy to announce that Retro Sketch will be releasing very soon for Steam. We currently have it set to release on the 27th, but the developer portal mentions that the earliest release date allowed may be November 1st. We'll see how things go tomorrow (the 27th). Retro Sketch is already available on Android, so if you're coming from there, you will be able to open your project files (.pxl) in the Steam version and vice versa. If you're interested in learning about how to use Retro Sketch and what each of the tools/windows available are, please take time to review the documentation on our website, or our YouTube tutorial playlist. If you encounter any bugs or have any trouble, please reach out to us and we'll do our best to resolve the issue. We are a team of 2, and we thank you for your understanding if we're not able to immediately answer. What are we currently working on? - We've recently made some bug fixes, just in time for launch - Porting our renderer from OpenGL to Vulkan for better multi-threaded and modern device support - Porting to iOS and Mac - Linux desktop issues, namely the file system setup for saving/loading images and projects - Adding a couple new features we wish to have in the app
