Hello, this is the Private Military Manager development team. We've updated the playtest build once more. [h1]How is the playtest going?[/h1] As much as we'd love to release the game once we've polished the gameplay to a level we're happy with, this isn't always the best option in the real world. It's a necessary part of making a game to see if the concepts and gameplay experiences we envision and create are interesting to a large number of players, and to get feedback to improve the game, which is what we're doing with Steam Playtesting. Each week we're making improvements to areas of the game that we feel are undercooked and underdeveloped, and we're seeing how our playtesters feel about the improvements. As any development team will tell you, your feedback is incredibly helpful! Here are the changes in this update. [list] [*] Performance improvements, in-game speed settings: We've generally improved the performance of in-game gameplay - we're hoping to see 30 frames in most environments where 3D games are playable. Along with the performance improvements, we've added in-game speed settings: You can fast-forward in-game to check the results quickly! [*] In-game interactivity: Players are now able to choose where to throw grenades in-game. Squad members can be reordered in-game. [*] UI improvements: New UIs are being added all the time: The following UIs have been updated: Squad List (Loadout), Shop, and Armory. [*] Level Design: We've polished the level design to make gameplay more interesting and challenging. [*] More equipment: We've made the equipment listed in the store more diverse. Along with the price of hiring and retaining mercenaries, we hope to make you think more about resource utilization during gameplay. [/list] Thank you!
