[b]What we're testing:[/b] [b]Performance Testing:[/b] Help us optimize the game by providing feedback on performance, frame rates, and any stuttering issues you might encounter. [b]Mouse Look Bug:[/b] We're currently fixing a bug affecting mouse movement. If you’ve experienced inoperable camera movement, your input will be crucial to resolve it. [b]General Game testing:[/b] We are looking for general player testers to test out features, this does not require certain hardware or a certain bug they encountered previously when the recode was playable. Below goes over more details on applying and other factors we are looking for. [h2]How to Sign Up[/h2] Simply send us a email to contact@thecenozoicera.com to apply as a playtester. Please ensure to use the following subject line in the email: TCE | Recode | Mouse Bug TCE | Recode | Performance Test TCE | Recode | General Testing [h2]Requirements:[/h2] [b]Performance test[/b] We are looking for a range of lower end hardware, if you have a higher end pc, you may still submit to help test the new map. Attach a list of your hardware specs in the email. [b]Mouse bug test[/b] This is for users in the past who had troubles moving their camera around, the game was unplayable for those who suffered from it. [b]General testing[/b] This is for users who wish to help test the recode further and make sure it is released in the most stable version [h2]Email requirements[/h2] Make sure you are in our Discord, if not, please [url=discord.gg/46k8wyeH3s]click here[/url] to join. Please attach your discord name in the email. Emails that fail to have a discord name attached will be automatically rejected. Also make sure to attach your Steam ID in the email, below is a short guide to locating your steam ID [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43288420/d943d03c5017c20b97273521b2f72b9230525c0e.png[/img] [h2]When will testing being?[/h2] Testing is planned to start Mid to late January - 15th to 25th | Testing is set to end upon the games readiness. If accepted as a play tester you will be assigned a Discord role and contacted within the discord. [h2]Testing Road map[/h2] Phase 1 of the recode test will be on a controlled development map ensuring features and playability are working as intended. Phase 2 of the recode will be on the new map, lower end hardware testers will have access to the second version of this map to ensure it operates smoothly on their PC. Phase 3 of the recode may have new features that have not been announced yet, these features may impact gameplay and are not confirmed to be in the final release. Phase 4 of the recode will be finalizing bug reports and ensuring all features are working as intended Phase 5 access will be terminated and the game will be in it's deployment stage soon to be released [h2]Steam ID[/h2] You can find your Steam ID several ways, one way is to open the Steam Client and head to your profile, there at the top of the screen (Red circle) you will see a URL, at the end of the URL you will find a 16 digit ID, copy and paste that into the email, if, in my case, you see text instead (Mine says "TheCenozoicEra") you can copy the entire link and use https://www.steamidfinder.com to extract the 16 digit code [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43288420/b1df36a67055a9664b0c75db3fefe58b8cea7d7e.png[/img] Other wise you can load up the game and join a random server, press Tab and you will see on the far right side your steam ID in the player menu.
