Here’s what’s included in the latest patch:
[h2]Bugs Fixes:[/h2]
[b]Cathedral Boss:[/b] Fixed the issue where players could take damage during the boss sequence. Also, fixed the issue where the cathedral boss could leave the arena and get stuck. [i](Test results were passed for this, but if it still occurs, please let us know.)[/i]
[b]Music Overlap:[/b] Fixed the issue where regular music did not stop correctly when the Tokyo boss music began.
[b]Kill Count Fix:[/b] Fixed the issue where kills near the edges of the Viking map did not count toward progress.
[b]Enemy AI Tweaks: [/b]Fixed the issue where ranged enemies on the Viking map would wait outside their attack range.
[b]UI Improvements:[/b] Fixed the issue where the welcome message stayed in the background after being closed in the main menu.
[b]Brightness Display Issue:[/b] Fixed the wrong brightness values in the settings.
[h2]New Changes Based on Player Feedback:[/h2]
- Horde Behavior: The horde will now automatically die after you kill the boss, just like when the boss is summoned.
- Trap Adjustments: Fixed the issue where traps could spawn under the player and immediately attack during the first boss intro sequence. Traps now start with a delay.
- Default Volume: The default volume setting in Options has been reduced from 100 to 50 for a better audio experience.
- Dash Ability: Dash air friction has been reduced from 1.3 to 0.52, allowing players to travel farther.
[h2]Optimizations:[/h2]
- VFX optimizations have been made for Morva the Defiler's Nature Beam ability.
[h2]Minor Changes and Adjustments:[/h2]
- Removed the light beam from the Madonna Statue in Egypt and Tokyo for now, as it was causing confusion for players. It will be added back in future updates when its purpose is finalized.
- Viking Map name has been changed to North.
- Travel banner images have been reworked.
- The small lake in Forest has been reworked to make it slightly shallower.
- For the second level (Cathedral), we’ve added back the missing trigger zone. If a player falls under the map, this will trigger an auto-teleport ability to bring you back into the map.
- Adjusted the stairs to reduce the chance of getting mantled when sliding at the start or end of stairs on the Egypt map.
- Made adjustments for some complex props to allow easier mantling (grappling). Some props are intentionally left challenging.
- Adjusted several props across maps: Some were relocated, and others were removed to reduce instances of players getting stuck while moving.
- Improved AI navigation and added more jump points for AI.
- Resolved issues with piercing abilities do not register some of the enemies.
[h2]Known Issues:[/h2]
- Game Crash Issue: We’re aware of the crash issues some players have been experiencing and are actively investigating the problem. Rest assured, we’re working on a fix and will release a patch for this as soon as possible.
