A pre-release version of next week’s Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes patch is now available.
Version 1.8 adds five new monsters to the game, as well as changing how monster armies are spawned, which together add a lot of variety to the neutral armies players face during a game.
To opt into the development snapshot, do the following:

[*] Right-click Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes in your Steam library
[*] Select “Properties”
[*] Select the “Betas” tab
[*] Choose “1.8 Beta” from the drop-down menu
[*] Close the Properties window
