Though it’s not a tradition to celebrate Christmas in China, we still want to take this opportunity to do a summary of 2024 and to set up some resolutions for BBEE in 2025. We believe that we have never talked about our crazy 2024 before, but it’s truly a roller coaster ride for us. It’s been almost a year since our 1.0 launch, but honestly, if it was us a year ago, we would have been surprised that we survived. You might be already curious about this story, but it’s too long and contains too much emotion. We will find a good timing to tell you the story, but now, let’s get to the point! [h2][b]A summary of our 2024:[/b][/h2] [list] [*] We finished Early Access development and launched the 1.0 version of the game. [*] Rachel DLC was installed: it’s not only our first character DLC, but also a gift to the players who supported us during Early Access. [*] Co-op mode was added. [*] Boss Rush was added - for those “git-gud” players! [*] Characters Improvements: We polished the control and combat of Ragna, Es, etc and re-designed Taokaka to bring each character a more unique combat style and battle strategy (hopefully you can feel it). [*] We also did some improvements on boss fight to make the experience more competitive and thrilling. [*] The difficulty system was re-designed as well to bring more variety and replayability. [*] For the players who like to collect, we installed a decoration system, an in-game mission system and even a music player! [*] And… a lot of bugs got fixed, a lot of improvements based on players’ feedback got actualized in 2024. [/list] [h2][b]So, what’s our plan in 2025?[/b][/h2] Behold, we are going to release all this content during the first half: [list] [*] Several brand-new characters: some of them are the original characters from BlazBlue while some of them will be from our crossover with other IPs. [*] New gameplay: we plan to finish the story with the Endless Mode which will also bring more varieties to the game. [*] New bosses, enemies, levels and biomes will be added to enrich the experience. [*] A higher difficulty level will launch soon, I know some of you have already rolled up your sleeve for battle! [*] More legacy skills = more playtime from you! [*] More slots to save your Evotype. [*] A Lan-party won’t be a dream anymore (wink, wink)! [*] More co-op polishing and improvements in other aspects! [/list] During your Christmas holiday, we will still be working as hell to achieve our promise. When you come back from holiday, part of these contents will be released soon before Chinese New Year so that we can enjoy our super long holiday in peace.
