New Major Update: Micro Kingdom Update

Hello Giants, Our first free update since the Ice Age DLC release is here! Focusing on Micro, we hope this update will help you get creative with the more than 300 biotica available in Reus 2! You can read the detailed Patch Notes at the end of this Steam News. ⚠️ As a reminder, since the update brings a lot of changes to the Micro system, it is not backwards compatible. You won’t be able to revisit old planets & save files after you update the game! Because of how different the Micro rework is compared to the previous version, you’ll not be able to load planets from before this version (v1.6) anymore. We will keep a fallback version of v1.5 online on a beta branch for anyone who wishes to finish the planets they started before this update, although keep in mind that the meta-progression will remain with this update. If you have further questions regarding this update, feel free to reach out to us.
Micro Rework
Micro won’t be Giant dependent anymore and instead, the Micro ability of a Giant opens the "Micro Shop". You will start each game with 2 random common Micros you can place and you don't consume the micro. As long as you have charges, you can place multiple Micros, however, some Micros increase in cost every time you use them, so be careful! Every Era, you gain 1 new Micro option, at least 5 at the final Era. The drafting has also become more strict on higher difficulties.
