Today, we are launching a new update that includes some features and tweaks to make your experience in Nanome even smoother.
Info Menu Overhaul
The Info Menu is a fan favorite amongst Nanome users for its range of abilities such as viewing docked results and cycling through ligands in a pocket, duplicating a frame to preserve the original base ligand, or playing back molecular dynamics trajectories. Most of the time, users want to annotate, sort, or rank the different frames to analyze further at a later time or show a colleague. With our latest update, users can easily switch between specific frames and their associated meta-data or edit the order in which the frames are displayed.

Invite colleagues to join your room via email (Direct Download versions only)
Ever have a cool structure you were viewing in Nanome and wanted to call up a colleague or friend to join you in Nanome? You can now invite your friends to a Nanome session through the Action Menu. Do so by clicking ‘Action menu > Room > Invite to Room’ and then type their email!
Sky Click Deselect and Intuitive Tool Mode Indicators
Users can deselect from the wrist menu, but for an even easier gesture, we have added the ability to deselect all by just pointing directly up into the sky and clicking the trigger. We have also changed the tool mode indicators to be much more indicative of the current mode that you are in and make it a bit more intuitive on which it is that you are selecting.

Rotate Molecules as a Desktop User
Desktop users are now able to rotate a structure using a keyboard and mouse all while in a collaborative session with their colleagues who could be in VR. Press ‘R’ to toggle-on rotation mode and hold down the middle mouse button to rotate a structure. Instructions can be shown by pressing the ‘H’ button.
