Nanome 1.13 - The Avatar Update

Today we’re launching a new update that includes many aesthetic changes! It’s been a while since we’ve launched an update focused on UI and collaboration tweaks and we’re very excited to hear your feedback! The audio status has four states: user is talking, isn’t talking, you muted the user, or user muted themselves. The gold star indicates who the presenter is in a room. If the user is not a presenter, a mini avatar is shown with their custom avatar color. Custom Avatar Colors Users can now customize the color of their avatars 10 unique colors. By default, Nanome automatically picks one of the 10 colors with an algorithm that assigns a color based on the user name you pick. In case you don’t like that color, no worries! Users can pull up the action menu (with the left Y button on the Oculus or the left Menu button on the Vive) and cycle through the 10 colors. The color of your avatar is reflected on your wrists. Choose Animation Effects for Menus Tired of the bouncing animation you see when you spawn a menu? Users can now choose from 10 different menu animation styles. Activate the action menu and navigate to Room > Environment Settings > Menu Style Animations. Custom Animation Speeds for Menus Users can now also change the animation speeds. You can also disable the animation by selecting ‘0 ms’.
