Heya Directors! As an avid reader of books, I’ve always believed in the old wisdom - "don’t judge a book by its cover." While that may be true for books and movie posters… I brought this one back from San Francisco, where I attended GDC. The old adage might have to be reversed in this case, however. …but, as we know, movies and video games are visual media. And as movies can’t survive without their scripts, nor can our (amazing) gameplay without some nice visuals to accompany it. Over the past year, we’ve iterated on our design, but it always felt like we were missing that “final touch”. Well, we’ve finally done it - we’re making a film studio simulator, so it only made sense to draw inspiration from the source - film sets. And in particular, miniatures. It's as simple as that.” And to tie it all together, here’s a little blast from the past of where we started and our journey to where we are now. Raytracing in 2030? That’s it for now, we’re getting everything ready to bring the game to the Big Screen real soon. Stay tuned!
