Hi Mighty Fighters, We want to give a big thanks to every one of our players who joined during the Early Access period on Steam and helped us begin building the game’s community. Your feedback has helped us shape the current state of the game, and we are incredibly grateful for the support. If you’re just finding us for the first time, we’ve added tons of exciting content since the original launch, including our guest characters ToeJam & Earl and Yooka-Laylee, Mission Mode (a series of combo challenges for all characters), and various balance tweaks. One of the biggest features we’ve added for launch is Cross-Play for all platforms, so PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Steam users can all play online with each other! In case you missed it during our tournament at Red Bull AdrenaLAN, we are adding Kunio and Riki from the Kunio-kun/River City Ransom series to Mighty Fight as DLC Fighters! In addition, we’ll have more characters to announce in the near future! Please stay tuned for more information regarding their release dates. As for recent balance changes, we’ve also made some adjustments to how we handle projectiles. Each projectile now has an internal health/strength value that determines how it interacts when clashing with another projectile. This means you can now fight against incoming zoning and maintain neutral so long as your projectiles are of equal or greater value. For example, in a CEO mirror match, his weaker projectiles colliding will destroy each other, but the larger fireballs he gets at Greed levels 1 & 2 will survive against the base version. We feel this balances theadvantage that zoning-focused characters like Krystal have to be less oppressive and makes for more strategic play. This project has been a passion project for all of us a Komi Games, aiming to bring back a classic arena fighter format and injecting it with our love for the entire fighting game genre. We have plenty in store down the road as well, so please stay tuned! As always, if you have questions or feedback, let us know in the Steam community forums or join the community Discord channel to stay up to date on news and tournaments. We hope you enjoy and Fight Mighty! Komi Games
