Welcome back Voidseekers to another Machina update! 2 new classes have been added along with their usual achievements... - Traiton Tinkerer: Who has extra access to Traitum items and weapon element affinities. - Accurse Wracked: Who has to contend with cursed meanies. A Bestiary has been added to the Codex Compendium which has a gallery of all the enemies as well as their stats and how many you've killed. 3 new achievements have been added for filling it out. The Bestiary is also used for some added meta progression where the Abilities that lure enemies must now be unlocked by killing a certain amount of those enemies. 8 new lure Abilities have been added to fill in the remaining enemies. A new enemy has been added called the Blobbernought who comes with the usual 3 upgraded forms, and upon destruction can pop out Blobbies so be careful not to get overwhelmed by numbers. They can show up in the latter Difficulty themes and are mainly so the different themes are more distinct from each other (for example in the Blue theme this new enemy replaces the Bobooms completely). The third upgraded form for the Ethereal Shade enemy has been added which you'll meet in the very late Difficulties. A new elite enemy has been added called the Plump Nukem which can spawn instead of the usual Gyron and has a bigly explosion when destroyed so you best keep a distance as they can also spawn in packs. There's now a Last Gasp health mechanic where if you have at least 40 Health and get hit by an enemy attack that would normally kill you then it will now reduce you to 1 Health instead. Some new Rogue Convergence game mode stuff... - There's now a small chance of the sector being extra dark which reduces your vision (the chance is based on the Difficulty). - A new hackable room has been added called Blob Containment which releases a bunch of Blobbies to boost your score. - 8 new Encrypted Stranger events have been added: Treasure Hideaway, Abilitious Specialty, Classious Heirloom, Cursed Environeer, Gimme Dat, Contact Broker, Blobby Connoisseur, Trojan Signal Some new Visibility settings... - Critical Screen: Shows a red border screen effect when at very low Health. - Cog Brightness: Adjusts the brightness of Cog Pickups. Other new stuff... - 2 new Voidworld Challenges Trial Traits: Always Dark, Blob Spawns - 3 new Passive items: Store Restockments, Curse Antenna, Derelict Runner - 1 new Ability: Cursed Shard - 1 new hat: Blobby Some misc changes to the Rogue Convergence game mode... - The Win Screen text is now censored with text being revealed for each Difficulty. - There's now a small chance of the sector event being one of the special Stranger events (eg Systematiser Sector). - Normal sectors can now have multiples of the same hackable room (previously they could only have 1 of each type). - The sector end portal will no longer push you away when it's opening. - Shop - Gun Runner: When hovering over an Upgrade Package your weapon will now show how much of a stat boost it will get. - Shop - Elementalist: When hovering over an item your weapons will now show how much of a stat boost they will get. - Shop - Elementalist: It will now always attempt to offer at least one appropriate item if you have an Element Core. - Shop: The base chance of an Encrypted Stranger showing up has increased to 66% (from 40%) and increased to 100% at Difficulty 7. - Some of the Hackable room texts have been changed so it's clearer what they do when hacked. Some misc changes to the Survival Function game mode... - In a Difficulty 6 swarm it now won't exclusively spawn Ethereal Shades. - Magical Trove: The choices will now show the Trove type name (instead of shop name). - Treasure Troves: When hacking it will now show the type of trove as its name (eg Weapon Trove). - Treasure Troves: You now get +1 Re-rolls when removing an item. - Traitum Trove: Blueprinted items are now free. - Enemies will now get slightly faster with each extra swarm sector. - There's now an increasing chance for a Mega Enemy to show based on the swarm sector number. Other misc changes... - You now flash red when at very low Health. - The Ability blobs above you (that signify when an Ability is ready) are now a bit bigger and play a small shockwave animation when they become ready. - Settings - Visibility - Drone Alpha: It now also shows the Guard drone aura as an example. - Depreciated Wretch: The description for its trait that allows him to steal now references its Value <= Speed cap. - When opening the Choose Hat and Card Collection menus it will now check to see if it should trigger appropriate achievements (in case they weren't given the first time). - Emeralt Hazard - Spewer: The time until it first starts attacking has been increased. - Element Bearer classes: They now ignore the max cap on Mega Weapons for the appropriate Element. - Scrap Lobber weapon: Its projectiles now have a small explosion (and so benefit from items that boost explosion size). - Element Chamber passive item: The 25% bonus stats for weapons of the same Element Affinity has been removed. - Drones: The base brightness of their auras have been reduced. - Element Generator passive items: Their Element stat boost has been increased to 1-2 (from 1). - Elemental Generator passive item: This now boosts a random Element stat by 1-4 (instead of boosting 1-3 random Element stats by +1). - Broker Insider passive item: The first Stranger event will now always be a Contact Broker who offers its services for free. - Gunnery Squad ability: The amount of drones it spawns has been increased by +1. - Fortuity Abilitous ability: Its price has increased to 20 (from 10). And bug fixes... - Tutorial: In the Status Screen section pressing the Menu Back button would count as opening the Status Screen. - When unlocking a Clashful Card the unlock tip wasn't showing the correct enemy icon. - Mental Alchemistal class unlock: If one your weapons didn't have its default Element Affinity then it may not unlock. - When using a gamepad opening the Status Screen could cause a crash. - Voidworld Challenges - Survival Function: Some trials that change your items at the start of a new sector weren't immediately updating the world objects. - Getting killed by an End Boss, Ethereal Shade, Gyron, or Mega Enemy wasn't showing the correct Killed By on the Game Over screen. - Shop - Encrypted Stranger: It wasn't showing a Confirm button tip. - Shop - Gun Runner: There was a rare chance of being offered an Elementless weapon that has an Element Affinity. - Shop - Gun Runner: When offered a Mega Weapon the tool tip could would show a level 4 weapon as level 3. - When hovering over a weapon's Element Affinity the Elementless tool tip wasn't correct. - Specialous Sectorium passive item: This could sometimes not add a Hackable room. - Chronos Relapse ability: In Survival Function its description was incorrect.
