Welcome back Voidseekers to another Machina update! The sneak peak into the Campaign Pilgrimage game mode is now playable. It took quite a while longer than I thought to get the game mode up and running so you can only play around in the Emeralt Difficulty for now but it gives a nice idea of the gameplay (though still a bit scuffed and unfinished in some places). There's online leaderboards for the game mode but no achievements just yet. A new class has been added called the Vampire Survivor who deals in mysterious Techarcana Cards that make use of the Voidworld Challenge trial traits. There's the usual class related achievements for him. In a Rogue Convergence after you've beaten the end boss, if you've already beaten that Difficulty as well as that Survival Function's Difficulty then a mysterious beacon will now spawn. You can Hack into it to continue your run for a bit longer where you'll be taken to a Rogue Survival arena. There's extra leaderboards for these special Survival arenas too to fight over as well as an achievement. Gun Runner shops now have a small chance of offering a weapon from any Element pool, though they will still use an Element appropriate for that Difficulty. So for example in Difficulty 1 you can now be offered a Rocket Launcher that uses the Argon Element (usually Rocket Launchers are reserved for Difficulty [5]+ runs). In the Pandorum Difficulty all weapons have their Element links randomised so you never know what you'll be offered. 2 new achievements called 'Rogue Destiny' and 'Survival Destiny' have been added which you can get by beating those game modes using Fortuity Destiny to select your Class, Difficulty, and Starting Weapon. 3 other new achievements have also been added, one each for getting a Mega Weapon/Ability/Drone. Other misc changes... - Voidworld Challenges: 15 new Trial Trait effects have been added. - On the Win / Game over screen there's now a shortcut button to show the online leaderboard. - The Ability Shop will now show any Mega Abilities you have and you can now sell them. - Status Screen: If you have a lot of passive items then you can now page through them all (previously it would only ever show the first 48 items). - HUD: The size of the background of the Health/Energy bars is now based on your Max Health/Energy (so you can see how close you currently are to max). - Shopping Phase: The chance for an Encrypted Stranger to show has been increased, and greatly increased in Pandorum Difficulty. - Shopping Phase: If you gained a free item or upgrade when entering the phase then the items shown will now also show "acquired" or "upgraded" (so it's clearer what happened). - Guild Merchant class: In a Rogue Convergence every Shop will now always be on sale (previously it was an extra 1-2 Shops). In Survival Function 3 extra Treasure Troves will spawn each sector (previously it was 1-3). - Dodgy Networker class: In the Survival Function game mode a Stranger Trove will now also spawn mid way through a sector. - Junk Booter class: His sprite now also has a little backpack. - Depreciated Wretch class: He now starts with an extra +5 Speed. - Abilitum Swarmous item: This will now also trigger any Mega Abilities. - Barricade Shield item: This now also destroys Boboom enemies. - Element Chamber items: Their stat boost has been decreased to 25% And bug fixes... - Achievements: Survival Function related achievements were saying 'Reach the swarm' (instead of 'Survive a swarm sector'). - Fortuity Destiny: When restarting a new run the Fortuity Destiny for Difficulty and Starting Weapon wasn't randomising. - Fortuity Destiny: If you chose Fortuity Destiny for your Class then went back and manually chose a class it would still randomise your Class when you restart the run. - Status Screen: Opening the status screen could cause a crash. - Status Screen: If the Config tab was active and you opened the Escape Menu then the Visibility menu would remain open. - Status Screen: On the Game Over screen your Health was showing a negative number. - Errant Knight class: The Encrypted Stranger could give a weapon element that isn't available in that Difficulty. - Blacksmith Forger class: His Drone auto-upgrade was only updating the level of the Drone (not the Drone itself). - Blacksmith Forger class: His Weapon auto-upgrade was ignoring the Pristine weapon trait. - Recycler Automaton class: If you were inside a Medical Drone's healing aura at the end of the level then it would still create the red smoke effect. - Guild Merchant class: His starting Max Health and Max Energy was incorrect. - Depreciated Wretch class: His starting Max Health and Max Energy was incorrect. - Dodgy Networker class: When using a gamepad the sell price of your items was incorrect. - Dodgy Networker class: In the Survival Function game mode some of the events weren't immediately updating world objects (eg when getting a free gun or drone). - Shopping: When using a gamepad the button tip to move your selected empty item was showing. - Encrypted Stranger - Systematiser Sector: The Systematisers weren't being spawned if the sector already had a special event. - The death explosions from enemies weren't showing if the sector exit portal was open. - Sentrion enemy: Its bullet's collision mask was scuffed. - Bubbler Hazard: It would still create Bubbles after the end portal had opened.
