Just left Venice Immersive yesterday. It was a pleasure to meet everyone there! Special thanks to Liz and Michel for hosting the event and for considering The Utility Room worthy of selection. Onto the next one!
[u][b]LEAP[/b][/u]
I've changed how the leap functions to make it more user friendly and satisfying. These changes are:
- The vibration now matches the beats of the leap sfx.
- The initial vibration is stronger creating a sense of the leap being engaged.
- A glitch wherein the leap sound played without haptics or functionality when the player tries consecutive leaps has been fixed.
- The vibrations are stronger and linear as it charges up making it clearer when the player should swing their arms.
- The sound has better spatialization on the controllers and now also plays in stereo.
Other changes
- The light fades on the floating platform in THE REPRIMAND when Bin Man appears which should dissuade players from moving backwards.
- Added some lights to the darker caves during The View so people don't think the caves are deeper than they appear.
- Better teleport tutorial when players arrive at the platform.
