Hello everyone, It has been awhile since we last spoke. In today's notice, I would like to share the update plans as we head towards completing [b]'The Devil Within: Satgat.'[/b] After launching the Early Access version of [b]'The Devil Within: Satgat'[/b], we know that we need to add some more things to the game to make the game the best it can be, based on the many suggestions given to us by our dedicated community. In order to do so, we balanced the suggestions with our original development plans, focusing on the following aspects: [list] [*]Scenario/Story Rework to improve storytelling [*]Improve upon pain points of the game [*]Make exploration and challenges more interesting and rewarding [*]Creating a game that is immersive from beginning to end [/list] Major updates will be distributed over 3 phases with details of each phase listed below. [h3]1st Major Update: Exploration, Challenges, Fixing Pain Points[/h3] In the first major update, we plan to add more content to the currently released sections of the game. One of the ways in which this will be done is that no matter which area you explore, it will be restructured with new challenges and rewards to ensure that the time that players invest in the game is worthwhile. Alongside the restructuring of the current sections will come new items that will help Kim Rip get stronger. Additionally, a warp function will be added so that players can re-vist areas that they had explored. We will also be adding difficulty adjustment features as well as boss challenges. These mechanisms will allow players to approach the game and adapt, gradually challenging higher difficulty levels and getting better at the game. Completing higher difficulty challenges will yield better rewards. Next, each skill that Kim Rip uses will have a more defined purpose. Depending on which sword you prefer and which skills you use, we are preparing a variety of skills/actions that will allow for different styles of gameplay. Regarding pain points, after looking through a lot of the feedback, we will be working on the AP system (stamina), which received the most negative feedback from players, in order to maintain a tense gameplay experience but void of frustration. In addition, this update will include many improvements such as gamepad button settings and appropriate guidance in game. [h3]2nd Major Update: Scenario Rework, New Areas[/h3] We received a lot of feedback regarding the story as well as the overall story-telling. Based on the suggestions and feedback received, a scenario rework is underway and we plan to update it together with the introduction of new areas. The game's story is a crucial element for players to immerse themselves in the game, which is why our team is devoting themselves to this aspect of the game. [h3]Official Launch![/h3] We plan on completing development within this year for the official launch. However, to ensure sufficient time for polishing the game before release, the exact release is still undecided. During the polishing process, we plan on collecting more feedback in the way of a CBT (Closed Beta Testing) and other methods. We ask for you support and active participation.
