The Metal Slug Tactics demo is a [b]Work In Progress[/b]. As a result, you may encounter [b]a few known issues[/b] that the development team is already investigating and working on.

[*] No controller support in this demo, it will be available for release.
[*] No rebinding is possible in this demo, it will be available for release.
[*] Some options reset when you return to the Main Menu (e.g. tooltip delays or screen edge panning)
[*] Can't zoom in/out, it will be available for release.
[*] Minor graphical problems when the game is played in lower graphics quality: strategic map and Boss Art are not centered.
[*] A small graphic artifact at the bottom of the screen that looks like a gray square may appear at times.
[*] Some UI elements are in the foreground and hide certain menus if they are not closed beforehand: typically, mission tooltips are displayed above the Pause menu or options.

[*] When opening the Pause menu or performing unscripted actions (e.g. pressing a Reset Turn when the game asks for something else), crashes and soft locks may occur.

[*] [u][b]Workaround:[/b][/u] Avoid straying from tutorial instructions. If you encounter a soft Lock/crash, going back to the Main Menu and starting a new game will restart the tutorial from the beginning.

[*] Some tutorial panels may hide the pause menu (you can close these panels).
[*] Tutorial restarts if you return to Main Menu in the middle of it/after finishing it the first time.

[h3][b]Soldier Select - Barracks - Armory[/b][/h3]

[*] If you open the description of an Asset in the Armory and start a run, the description will appear on the screen throughout the run.

[*] [u][b]Workaround:[/b][/u] Return Soldier Select when restarting a game, open Armory, Select an Asset, then go to a weapon profile.

[*] If you buy an item in the Barracks/Armory and return to the Main Menu, the purchase is canceled and the money is returned to the player. The game saves only after restarting a run.

[h3][b]In-Game[/b][/h3]

[*] It is possible to start a run without any unit selected.
[*] [u][b]Workaround:[/b][/u] Return to the main menu and relaunch a run with "Start a new game".
[*] It is currently impossible to reread explanatory texts once closed, a codex is planned for release.
[*] The objective counter is not reset by pressing "Reset Turn".
[*] Victory/defeat screen: The exit button is sometimes inactive/not clickable.
[*] [u][b]Workaround:[/b][/u] Restart the game to continue.
[*] Switches and cranes still have their "Use" UI then even after use (when they are no longer usable).
[*] The "SAVE" IU for prisoners remains displayed after releasing them.
[*] Layering and transparency issues at times affect the visibility of characters and enemies.
[*] The same applies to preview movements, especially when there are elevation changes or jumps.
[*] Loss of FPS when using Grenade Juggle - especially on the second attack.
[*] Trampolines remain displayed after a reset but are not functional.
[*] Sometimes targets don't have the target over their heads to recognize them.

[*] Sync preview missing when targeting an enemy on a wooden box. Sync will still take place normally.
[*] On some dual-target attacks, pressing repeatedly on the same target increments an infinite number of damage but never performs the attack.
