Initial concepts were hopeful but didn’t quite capture the pure contempt and savagery that Lilith should hold. So … what if her bitterness literally had twisted her? Physically? In ancient Hebrew-language texts, there’s a reference to Lilith as the ‘screeching owl’. That conjured up some interesting options. An owl is a night creature and predator … who stares into your soul with glowing eyes, out of the night. It made sense to have Lilith slowly consumed by the beast. Honestly these wings took a billion years of trial and error to get right, but I'm so happy with how this turned out!"
