ENGAGE

ENGAGE is a metaverse platform designed for professionals, event organizers, and corporations to build their own virtual worlds to provide metaverse services directly to their own clients and to build out new business models.

[h1]New[/h1] [h3]Single sign-on (SSO) - Beta release[/h3] o Added single sign-on (SSO) support for Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) for Enterprise account beta testers. [h3]Session capacity[/h3] o Implemented new restrictions on the number of users that can join a session that was created by a LITE or PLUS user. For LITE users, the maximum total number of users is two. For PLUS users, the maximum is 10. o Added an option for users to set a maximum capacity for a Session when they create one. [h3]Avatars[/h3] o Added the ability for users on desktop and mobile devices to see their own avatar. For example, on a desktop device, a user can flip the menu camera to take a selfie. [h3}Events[/h3] o Removed the option to create Events within the ENGAGE application. All users should now create their Events in the web manager. [h1]Improved[/h1] [h3]Avatars[/h3] o Redesigned avatar display names and status icons to improve legibility. [h3]Content Editor [/h3] o Added an option to enable drag box selection in the dope sheet. o Created consistent views when a user switches between the timeline, dope sheet, and curve editor by ensuring that they display the same time range. [h3]Security and performance [/h3] o Added a new Security & log-in section in the ENGAGE application account management menu to group related settings. o Moved the option for users to change their password in the ENGAGE application to the new Security & log-in section. o Applied important updates and improvements that benefit the stability of the platform. [h3]Videos[/h3] o Increased the resolution of thumbnail images shown in search results. [h3]IFX (Immersive FX)[/h3] o Disabled the appearance of IFX selection bubbles when a user hovers a selection cursor over them. Users now only see a selection bubble when they attempt to interact with an IFX. I.e., click the left mouse button or press the interact button on a VR controller. [h3]Meta VR devices[/h3] o Improved stereoscopic alignment of some UI elements, such as the animated data transit lines on the ENGAGE LINK map. [h1]Fixed[/h1] [h3]IFX[/h3] o Fixed an issue that could cause shared IFX to not remain in persistent Sessions after all users had left the Session. o Fixed the External Texture Shader for 3D images. [h3]Portals[/h3] o Fixed portals that were configured to transport users to a specific spawn point in a different session. [h3]Chroma key screens[/h3] o Fixed the appearance of chroma key screens to more accurately subtract the chosen color and remove artifacts, such as green outlines. [h3]UI[/h3] o Fixed an issue that prevented users from interacting with small buttons in the UI when their avatar was in motion. o Fixed an issue that caused duplicate or blank user tiles to briefly appear on the Users page of the in-session menu. o Fixed an issue that could cause a data retrieval error to appear when users viewed the last page of the content library or performed a search. o Fixed an issue where the VR wrist controls were not disabled when hidden and users of VR devices could accidentally select tools. [h3]3D voice[/h3] o Fixed the 3D voice state toggles to accurately indicate whether 3D voice is enabled for each user. o Fixed the 3D voice toggle on the Session Settings page so that the setting is applied to all users in the Session. [h3]Localization[/h3] o Fixed an issue that prevented the input of Japanese characters into text fields in the ENGAGE application’s web browser. o Translated some additional areas of the application that appeared in only English. [h3]Content Editor[/h3] o Corrected the initial size of the editor panel when opened on a VR device. o Fixed an issue where if a user selected multiple recordings on the timeline and tried to move them at the same time, they did not move uniformly. o Fixed an issue that caused Skip to Time IFX to be active when not playing the content. o Blocked activation of emojis in the Content Editor.] [h3]Avatars[/h3] o Fixed an issue that occasionally caused an avatar to appear in the wrong outfit in the interior spaces of the Moon Base location. o Fixed the lighter skin tone patches that appeared on the forehead of avatars in the avatar editor. [h3]Voice communication[/h3] o Fixed an issue that could cause the application to briefly become unresponsive on some devices when the user’s microphone was muted. [h3]User accounts[/h3] o Fixed an issue where if a user that was logged in on one device, and then used the same account to log in on another device, they were not automatically logged out of the first device.
