Kitty Survivors: Rogues of Catmere

Kitty Survivors is a funny action rogue-lite game where you slay hordes of creatures, create overpowered builds, use elemental skills and craft stupid weapons. Join a growing guild of misfits with a thirst for milk, hired to protect the Kingdom of Catmere!

[h3]Hey guys, this is an overview to the full release of the game in a few months:[/h3] [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/43239624/9008d577264dff0ebf4d4348020c700acf502f4b.png[/img] [b]Once the roadmap is complete, the game will leave Early Access and we will start the 1.0 version.[/b] Note that some features might change along the way, it will all depend on the feedback you as players give me during the Early Access phase. There are also some minor features that I'll be adding to the game, which I felt it wasn't necessary to be part of the roadmap. [h3]Now, I'll talk a little about the [b]new features[/b] I'm planning on adding:[/h3] [b]Codex:[/b] The codex will display everything you unlock in the game and will reward you for that. There will be rewards for defeating x number of enemies or defeating a particularly enemy x number of times. It will be similar to a bestiary in that matter, but will also contain information about perks, pets and so on. I'll add objectives to the codex, so let's say if you defeat 100 skeletons, you will be rewarded with gold or unlock an achievement. If you defeat 10000 skeleton there will be another reward... If you use a specific perk x number of times or deal x damage with a specific weapon.. by now you should have an idea of what I mean with the Codex. [b]Perk evolution:[/b] Similar to other survivors games, you will be able to upgrade a perk beyond its maximum level. There will be synergies between perks, so you will have to equip one, to unlock the evolution of another. [b]Pet evolution:[/b] When you level a pet to its maximum level, you will be able to evolve it to a stronger version. It will change its appearence and also unlock a new and unique ability. [b]Angel & Devil:[/b] Sometimes an angel or a devil might appear in your runs. The angel will offer something to help you, without asking for nothing in return, may it be evolve one of your perks or heal one of your lives. The devil is a trickery one, it will have the most OP perks in the game, but will ask for a life in return. I'm still considering how they will appear in the game, at first I was planning to make them appear at random, when you open a chest, but now I'm thinking about giving you an objective that you need to complete to summon one of them. I will be adding new characters and special abilities unique to each one of them. They will probably be similar to the dash ability, an active skill. I'm also planning new game modes: Quickplay, Endless and a [b]secret one[/b]. At some point I might rework the classic mode's difficulty, which is unlocked everytime you complete a match, and make it more challenging than just changing enemy attributes and spawn rate. New maps will be added but I'm not sure when. First I need to make sure the one we have already is well balanced and fun. I'm not sure if I'll be able to add Twitch integration and mod support before releasing the 1.0 version, but it's something that I want to add eventually. I think I've covered the main points about the development road ahead, the announcement is getting too long, so I'm going to finish it now.
