Hello everyone,
It has been a while since our last update, and we wanted to share some exciting progress with you.
Firstly, our combat mechanics are nearing completion, and we have put in a tremendous amount of effort into perfecting our character animations. We are proud to announce that all animations will be crafted using traditional frame by frame 2D animation. This applies not only to our fighters but also to the Jester, who will play a crucial role in the game. The Jester will be responsible for presenting each round, performing the countdown, indicating the time remaining for the round, and even signaling whose turn it is in turn-based mode.
We have been considering participating in the current Steam Next Fest, but after careful consideration, we have decided against it. The reason behind this is that we are simultaneously working on a captivating map overworld that will allow you to explore between each fight. Within this overworld, you can expect to encounter puzzles, enemies, and even formidable bosses. As a result, we believe that the game requires a bit more time in the development process. However, rest assured that we plan to release a demo once this aspect of the game reaches a presentable state.
Lastly, we would like to express our gratitude to all the people who have already wishlisted our game. This is our first venture into game development, and your support and encouragement mean the world to us. Your unwavering enthusiasm has truly bolstered our spirits as we navigate the challenges that come with creating a game.
