[h3]Hello there. [/h3] It has been a while. This Devlog was supposed to appear earlier and have different content. We have planned to run Devlogs earlier and with more content, but we have met a few obstacles that are the reason for the delay. Therefore we have established funds and overall higher budget now. We decided the best usage for it to upgrade our working stations as old ones would have serious trouble handling current game scope and quality. We ordered all computers something around mid-February. [u][b]Unfortunately, an accident caused the GPU's total failure. To put it bluntly, RTX 3090 went to the trash.[/b][/u] Due to the worldwide GPU shortage, we had to wait over one month for a new GPU for our lead programmer to continue working on visual aspects. Thankfully waiting period was not entirely wasted. We have used this time to do some serious scripting work that we will share when connecting it with visuals in the next Devlogs. So how all this unfortunate event ended? [u][b] Today we have three new computers. We have swapped RTX 3090 to Radeon 6900xt.[/b][/u] How does that affect game development? [img]{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/39619896/f45047defbde39789f8c742842f39839b62c14e4.png[/img] Radeon 6900xt is better than RTX 3090 in UNITY projects but would perform worse in Unreal Engine projects. We are making the game in Unity, so it's a win-win situation for both us and players aside from time-loss. In future Devlogs, We will explain some mechanics, how will they work and what that will mean for the Player. That should be it for today. In the next Devlog, there will be more about the game.
