Devlog #2 - Something new and another demo update

The Dark Horde

The Dark Horde is a roguelike deckbuilder where you control the flow of time by playing cards! Summon a horde of minions at your command, harvest the Souls of fallen enemies and send your disposable Goblin Looters on the Battlefield to seize precious Gold. Lay waste and enjoy being Evil!

Hello Dark Mages! This update is necessary for a couple of reasons. First, I have updated the demo, again! Some of my most awesome Dark Horde lovers pointed out some aspected about the new Miracles Reroll feature introduced with the last Demo patch. So I had to fix that, even just for the demo! While I was at it, I also updated some other things you might notice. So, here is the list of what is new with this new Demo update: - Miracles are now saved! This means that if you reroll the Miracles and then retry the level, the initial pool of Miracles will be the same (and the Dark Gem used for the Reroll will be lost). Avoiding those pesky Miracles you hate to draft won't be that easy! - Fixed a configuration bug where Goblin Looters triggered events for Minions. Goblin Looters are worthless, they don't deserve to be considered Minions. - Fixed the count of cards when Miracles are added to the deck. - Added a fancy Yellow glow for Rare cards! (Also added a Purple glow for Epic cards aswell, but those are not available yet...) Now that the Demo is sorted out, let's see what I recently added for the actual game in Early Access: - the last remaining basic feature, card removal, has been added for a vendor in the Necro Comicon festival. At the cost of 3 Heroic Souls you will be able to permanently remove 1 of the 4 cards that have been part of your deck the longest. This feature has been added to the Mirror Overseer vendor, that you can unlock once you reach level 8. This vendor has also the wonderful ability to duplicate a card already in your deck for the modest price of 5 Heroic Souls... - I balanced some cards you haven't seen yet. I'm sure there will be more unbalanced cards at Release, but that's what Early Access is there for: receiving feedback! - I fixed a SERIOUS bug that involved the Endless Mode of the game. I think that what will be in the first Early Access release is pratically ready for publishing to be honest! But let's wait for summer to end instead of rushing things... after all, Fall is a better season to lay waste on enemy villages...
