You can find The Reach at the end of every dungeon. For the duration of the event, and depending on the tier of dungeon (see below), a different portal will appear and depending on the tier, defeating the Reaper will drop presents. Open (destroy) the presents to progress the Attainments. Claim the rewards and open up the (real) presents to get an exclusive item! They truly change how the game is played and the feeling of looting tiered and untiered items. When getting an equipment drop, you’ll now have the chance of it rolling from a group of Affixes specifically tailored to that slot type. Semreh is a deity of trade, wealth, luck, and thieves. He wants to see you be your best and do your best. Complete over [b]1,000 unique attainments[/b] to compete to be on top of the all-time leaderboards. Doing so will place your character in the Tavern on his podium and give you a temporary gold/silver/bronze medal to wear on your characters to show your devotion. You all overwhelmingly voted on the option to reset everyone’s shield rank with the ability to regrind the new Shield Attainments for ~8810 gold in rewards! [h2]No Hit Attainments[/h2] In the Dungeon Attainments category, you will find numerous No Hit attainments. Completing a no hit has some rules that you can read about in the info button the these Attainments. I would like to quickly highlight them because they are a free-to-play path of getting pets that can be better than shop generator pets. On launch, every single dungeon will include a path to getting free-to-play pets. Each dungeon will have a stat split appropriate for the dungeon’s level. [h1]Daily (Gold) Attainments[/h1] With Semreh’s immense wealth, he is offering you 30 gold free a day just by completing his Daily Attainments. [hr][/hr] [h1]New Player + General Experience Improvements[/h1] From keys dropping from bosses, the return of Daily (Gold) Attainments, every boss dropping a free Skin, and Attainment rewards dropping chests + free pets, we think we’re in a pretty good spot on the shop side of things for new players. Most importantly however, is the new player experience while playing the game itself. Below are some improvements that we plan on expanding indefinitely into the future. [h2]New Player Dungeons[/h2] Coming this update are 2 new player dungeons that both focus on a certain mechanic to introduce new players to. We’ve gone ahead and enabled essence for both of these dungeons so new players are introduced to the system earlier. Our goal for all new player dungeons is to teach players brand new to the genre how to play it. [h3]Trembling Giant[/h3] A giant hollow tree filled with dangerous enemies await new players. But there’s a twist! The community loved Mara makes her return as a teacher. Instead of killing our beloved Mara, you’ll be greeted by her giant nuts to learn from and destroy for loot. She will teach you the basics of [b]enemy marking[/b], which is a new and interactive way of letting players know what they should be doing. Who would have guessed! It covers nearly every topic there is: The Tavern, The Beyond, The Vault, The Dominion, various game systems, and UI. We hope this will be a welcome change! We do plan on adding a more interactive and less text based tutorial in the future. [b]Note for Returning Players:[/b] Everyone is required to do the Tutorial. When in the Dominion portion of the Tutorial, you are required to die by the “An Aspect of the Void”. [b]You will not actually lose your character.[/b] It is a fake death screen to transition people into The Beyond so we can explain it. Don't worry. [h2]Reworked Experience[/h2] Our goal is to have people cooperatively run dungeons, Raids in the future, and put themselves in more danger than running around the Mountains farming Glory in trains. While we have nothing against train farming, we think its a better experience to experience more than a train. To that end, we’ve changed a few things: [list][*]Vastly increased experience gains in every dungeon. [*]Added a boost of experience for killing quest bosses/enemies. [*]Decreased glory gain across the board for Dominion enemies. [*]Killing level-appropriate enemies will yield you more experience than not. [*]Example: A level 17 Assassin will receive the most experience killing level 15-19 content, and not jumping directly to the Mountains and killing Gods. [*]We'll be keeping a close eye on experience gain and adjust numbers accordingly. Be sure to post in our feedback channels if something doesn’t feel rewarding enough![/list] [h2]Dungeon Keys[/h2] To address numerous concerns regarding Dungeon Keys, we have elected to make them available in the Shop for [b]platinum only[/b]. This will result in nearly every key costing less money but not being available to purchase for Free 2 Play players using gold. To make up for this, Dungeon Keys will now drop from all dungeon bosses. They will be [b]untradeable[/b]. [h3]Key Costs[/h3] [list][*]Axis of Trade Dungeon: 3 platinum [*]Advanced Dungeons: 2 platinum [*]Intermediate Dungeons: 1 Platinum [*]New Player Dungeons: Not Available[/list] [h3]Key Adjustments[/h3] To combat other concerns, Dungeons opened by keys will no longer: [list][*]Spawn with a Loot Shrine in them [*]Have the ability to drop additional Keys from the Boss[/list] [h2]No Teleportation[/h2] Despite some endgame dungeons spawning you in the boss room, it was never intended for people to sit in the spawn waiting for a few people to do the dungeon's objective (e.g. clear idols). Along with the aforementioned experience rates that will hopefully incentivize clearing, we have decided to disable player-to-play teleportation in the following dungeons: [list][*]Harbinger's Oblivion [*]Shrine of Devas [*]Ancient Ruins [*]Rampant Citadel [*]The Void[/list] Dungeons where you spawn in the boss room will be revamped in the future to make better use of this feature. However, we hope it will allow people to help others clear; especially given the massive increase to glory in all of these dungeons [hr][/hr] [h1]Bless Up[/h1] Our 8th class enters the dominion! The Bishop is a Crosier wielding, Robe wearing, Element shooting class that restores Mana to all of those in his immediate presence. It will also allow enemies to dish out more impactful status effects depending on the tier of dungeon it is. [list][*]Status Effects now have tiers! 1-5, with 5 being the best. A Unique item may start at Tier 3, while a low tier item will probably start at Tier 1. [*]Another cool thing about these new Status Effects is that they stack! As an example, the Tier 6 Crosier (Bishop Ability) starts at Tier 2 Blessed. If 9 other Bishop’s use the same Crosier, the collective status effect a player will receive will be upgraded to Tier 3 Blessed. [*]The same can be said about any status effect; whether given to enemies by players or to players by enemies. Gone are the days of mindlessly getting hit by status effect inflicting projectiles/bombs![/list] [hr][/hr] [h1]Functioning Guilds![/h1] We now have a functioning guild system! Promote, demote, and kick members from the new and improved Guild List Stand. You’ll be able to see when your guild was founded, your member and online counts, and your rank! Click on a Player to see when they were last online, or what server they’re currently on! In the UI itself, or in the shops, you can get several basic emotes for free! [h2]Day and Night[/h2] One of the most exciting features we’ve added for more immersion is a Day and Night system. While currently rudimentary in its implementation, we plan to fully take advantage of the system by adding time dependent enemy spawns and encounters in the future. [b]Vesta, Axis Gatesguard[/b] is here to protect the Enraged Bulls and Axis of Trade from any intruders. Do you have what it takes to best her and enter Taurus’ domain? Fight through the hordes of angry onlookers, be chased to the Colosseum, and fight in one of the most epic battles Darza’s Dominion has ever faced. [*]An entirely revamped The Beyond awaits. You’ll move faster and spawn closer to your characters after your initial visit. The Graveyard is filled with, at the top, your top deaths. The lower portions of your graveyard are filled with 36 of your most recent deaths. [*]Added color to the Loot Shrine text to spruce it up [*]Nerfed Wyrm Rider tether heal by around 50%. As an example, if you healed for 1000 HP (possible if you hit all your shots with the UT dagger during the Tether duration), it will now only heal 500 HP. [*]+n Essence/Gold/Platinum above head on increase to [*]1 Plat can now be purchased for use in buying Keys [*]Mute Button has been moved from the main screen to the options menu.
