Hellcard is a unique cooperative deck builder rogue-like game. Descend into the paper dungeons on your own, recruit computer-controlled companions or join other players' lobbies in fast-paced tactical card battles against the armies of darkness and the Archdemon himself!
Bruja, an ancient blood witch with a past shrouded in the fog of history, is an expert at balancing divine grace and retribution. Her goals and motivations are unclear, but her power is too great not to invite her to the party.

Bruja is also available to everyone as a companion in the single-player, regardless of DLC ownership. And the DLC itself is, of course, part of the Supporter Pack.
[h2]New Mechanic: Blood Price[/h2]

Bruja mastered the art of blood magic though lost in times immemorable. This allows her to pay for skills with her own health. And heal using life essence of blood. When abused this dark art can create Black Bile, which can be both a boon or a curse depending on build.
One more important thing to note: Bruja can never die by paying the blood price for cards. This means she will stay at 1 health point, but all blood price cards will still be playable.

[h2]New Mechanic: Reckoning and Grace[/h2]

She is too old to balance her power on only one leg, though. When our heroes' ancestors still clubbed each other with stone tools she was searching out primal dark gods. Long forgotten these gods cling to her for energy and she extorts power from them in return. It's a delicate balancing act: each favor increases [b]Reckoning [/b]which will deal as much damage to Bruja at the end of the turn. She knows how to delay, deflect, and manipulate her dark friends and gain their [b]Grace[/b]. When [b]Grace [/b]is active, Reckoning doesn't activate that turn.
