BORNEO, AN "ANIMATED" GRAPHIC

One of the biggest challenges in the development of BORNEO: A Jungle Nightmare was to combine the search for a dynamic aesthetic with the beautiful illustrations by artist SoloMacello.
So we asked ourselves, what can we do to bring our artist's illustrations to life?
After studying the tools available to us, we found 2D Animation to be the ideal solution.

As you can see, 2D Animation is a Unity Technologies package that provides a series of tools for rigging and animating 2D images using timelines and transitions, which allow us to bring the beautiful graphics that make up the game to life.

In addition to the rigged animation, however, to make the scenes even more dynamic and realistic, we have also introduced a series of particle effects, such as smoke, masterfully designed by SoloMacello.

Well, now you have a general idea of the aesthetic we want to achieve with BORNEO: A Jungle Nightmare!
Not bad, isn't it?
That's all for today, see you in the next DEVLOG!
