It is my pleasure to announce the release of the next major update for Alone - Domus.
The focus of this update is the peaceful part of the game - with changes to building, decorating, and even clothing.
Major Changes

Building upgrades and changes
The buildings available have been changed, with buildings now broken down based on industry instead of raw material. For instance, the new Weaponcrafter building is used to create weapons, shields, and armour - instead of the mason workshop (stone weapons), smithy (metal weapons), carpenter (shields).
Similarly, tools are now all made at the Toolmaker, which is also the source of a great deal of building upgrades.

Most buildings are now created in a "basic" state, and must be upgraded to reach their full potential. The type of upgrades available depend on the building type, but for instance, crafter buildings can be upgraded to unlock new materials and give quality bonuses to items created there.
Building Decorations
Buildings can now be decorated using a simplified interface. Some items will even allow you to choose their primary colour, helping you keep to a specific palette.

Many more items have been added for decorative purposes, including two new classes of decorative items - carpets and wall decorations.
Clothing
The player character can now change clothing using the new wardrobe item at the house. Clothing however must be unlocked at the tailor workshop. The fancier the clothing, the fancier the material used to create it, including the need for silk - which is not found on your island...
Storage
Island storage has been greatly simplified. Instead of having separate chests with their own inventory, now all chests open the same inventory - making it much easier to remember where you left that... thing.
To help with the larger inventory sizes, the interface has been updated to allow for pagination and filtering.
Trading
Trading has been given a significant boost in importance. Some of the more exotic items can only be accessed via trade. To help one's trading efforts, trading is now performed at the Trade Post - which can be upgraded to increase trader frequency, and even increase the amount of profit the player makes during a trade.

Additionally, trade goods have been introduced. These are items that can be crafted at the appropriate building, and have a higher value compared to others - perfect for squeezing out that extra gold.
And the rest...
There are other changes not mentioned here, so give the game a try and see for yourself. Try out the new decoration features and see what you can come up with.
