0.4.6 Pumpkin Patch Is out! + Pets Added + News on Final Release

Pumpkin Days

Pumpkin Days is a traditional farming RPG. Pick one of three towns to start your farming adventure. Farm, fish, mine, catch bugs, raise animals, and more. Help fill out the museum to stop a factory from being built on the island. Unless you wish to side with the factory. The choice is yours.

Pumpkin Patch 0.4.6 is out! Pets Added + Optimization The main feature of this patch was the addition of pets. Dogs and cats will now spawn randomly in the farm shop. They are a bit rare so if you don't see them the first time you may need to check back. A common question that has been asked is if there is a limit on pets. You can have as many pets as you can fit on your farm. All you need is to have enough space for the pet houses on your plot for each pet. Check the library in the game for more information about how to take care of pets. I forgot to add this in the library, but in case you don't see it before we add it in; different colors of pets spawn in different seasons. There are 7 different colored coats of dogs, and 8 different colored coats of cats. There really isn't any specific patch notes for this patch. A lot of the fixes were either minor bugs or issues that were rare to trigger. We also did some optimization in the game. We hope that some of these changes will be helpful for some players. Please note: We may have introduced some new bugs that we missed. So if you notice anything odd please let us know as soon as possible so that we can fix them. If you make Pumpkin Days videos or stream Pumpkin Days, I recommend waiting about 3 days after a patch to give us some time to catch and fix any major bugs. Final Release When? The pets were the last major feature to add to the game. So from here on out it's going to be all bug fixes, more writing for the characters, and polish. We still have no set date for when we are coming out of early access, but we are very close, maybe in the next few weeks. Our major challenge is multiplayer related bugs and it's completely unknown how long tackling those bugs will take. Not to mention the community always finds new things we can fix. After we come out of early access, we will still be supporting the game. We're going to keep polishing and improving content when we can. At this point in the game's development (not including unknown bugs) the game is 95% done. Thank you so much everyone for your support!
