Project Scrapper

Project Scrapper is a casual 2D beat-'em-up where players manipulate gravity to accomplish objectives. Armed with just gravitational rivets and an anti-gravity jump, players will need to come up with their own strategies on the fly to succeed.

Project Scrapper is a casual 2D beat-'em-up where players weaponize physics to compete against other players in various game modes.

Features

  • Use gravity rivets to interact with the environment. Turn desks, asteroids and toys into projectiles. Launch other players across the map. Even disassemble the walls of the map to try to eliminate your opponents.

  • Navigate vertically and horizontally. Change your gravity to walk along walls and ceilings. Manipulate your gravitational direction to jump across the map

  • Play in 8 maps with game mechanics specific to each

  • Fight against other players in 4 game modes

  • Play how you want to. Combine game modes to make things as simple or complicated as you prefer. Modify game physics to increase the chaos

  • 12 character customization options, all available from start

  • Local splitscreen or online

Fight against other players in several game modes

  • Scrapmatch - An elimination game mode with a Project Scrapper twist where players destroy the map to knock each other out

  • Collection - Gather as many cubes as possible in your collection area and steal cubes from other players. The more cubes, the faster your score goes up

  • Hat Stack - A test to observe asset gathering AND protection, Scrappers will gather hats from throughout the level. Similar to Collection, players are incentivized to collect as many as possible. However, the more hats they collect, the higher their hat stack will grow, and the higher a hat stack, the harder it is to protect

  • Intrusion - Deposit blocks in your opponents' collection areas to take away their points. Each block deposited explodes shortly after, knocking away players and other objects. Last person with any points remaining wins

Play in maps with game mechanics specific to each

  • Testing Facility - Four walls, and nothing else. A standard map (or as standard as it is in Project Scrapper) for those who like the simple things.

  • Wrecking Ball - A variant of Testing Facility that contains an anti-gravity wrecking ball that can be manipulated using rivets to destroy the facility's walls

  • Solar - Jump from planet to moving planet, dodging asteroid storms and avoiding the incineration at the hands of the sun (Scrapper bots are durable, but not that durable)

  • Playroom - Two rooms connected by a regularly opening door. Each also contains a toy chest that spits out toys

  • Towers - Two office buildings with multiple rooms to divide players until destroyed. As well as a lot of office supplies to throw at each other

  • Pipeworks - A larger map with pipes around the borders that can transport objects and a button that creates TNT, useful for blowing up opponents.

  • Spaceship - Steer a spaceship through space using control levers. As the ship accelerates, players and the ship's contents are jostled accordingly. Equipped with two airlocks to dispose of unwanted contents (such as other players)

  • Ball Pits - Navigate through four connected rooms filled with plastic balls. Hide from your opponents in the ball pits, lose them in the rooms, or even prepare an ambush while unseen
