The past week has been incredible! Seeing you get your hands on the game and share your thoughts about the good, the bad, and the ugly is exactly what this first public playtest was designed for. And you all showed up in a big way for us!

It's one thing for us to say that, but it's a whole other thing for us to show it. That's why we have just released a new patch for the Maximum Football Open Beta that addresses some of the biggest concerns that we saw from the community.
[h2]Extending the Beta[/h2]
Our original plan was to run the Beta for the week of Steam Next Fest, but since you all shared great feedback and we made some changes based on that feedback, we are [b]extending the Beta one more week[/b]! We'd love for you to share your opinions on our changes, or maybe for the first time.
You can now play the Beta through Monday, June 24th!
[h3]Real Speed Open Beta[/h3]
One of the biggest pieces of feedback we received over the last week is that the gameplay is too slow. College and pro-level football features some of the most impressive athletes on the planet, and we want to make sure that Maximum Football feels like you are controlling these athletes.
The biggest change users will notice is the new [i]real world simulation speed[/i]. We have calibrated player speed around 40-yard times between 4.2 and 5.7 seconds (depending on the speed rating of the player). This will allow the users to make quick cuts and quicker changes of direction.

We have made other changes based on user feedback and you can find that complete list of bug fixes in the patch notes below. Please note that because we turned around a patch in a week, we were not able to address all your feedback and bug issues. As this is a Beta, you may encounter bugs, especially with the new updates.
